I don't think he likes me too.
Arthur is my ultimate crush. We're both in the first year of our senior high school. Even he's in his first year, he still won the election and elected as the SSG President. He's also the team captain of the varsity team at school. He definitely had the badboy type aura but it's the other way around. I often see him in cafeteria or at school benches, alone. He's not a friendly one. Despite of that, he still has a lot of admirers. Girls always drool over him. They even do crazy stuff just to be noticed by him. They always send love letters and chocolates for him, but he will immediately reject them.
Well, except for this year. This year was the best as our senior days started.
It's very unusual when I heard the news that he accepted Kiara's letters and gifts. The next day, he accepted Kale's gift too. Many, also attempted to give him presents and such, and he did accepted all of that!
Envy crept inside me. Definitely, I can't do that stuff. I'm a shy type one. I do have a lot of admirers. But it was Arthur who I like the most. It was really frustrating to think that maybe, he didn't even know me. He didn't even throw a gaze on me, even just once.
Senior's Night approached. It was just 3 days before. Rex was my partner. Kiara's was Arthur's partner. Everyone started to create a fandom for them when they heard it. Everyone was happy for Kiara. Well, she's really into him that much. I bet it was a dream came true for her! She's really lucky for Arthur to notice her.
Senior's Night came. It was also the Closing party for us, first year and a graduation party for the graduates. Days from now, their graduation will be held here too. Our recognition day will be held at the school.
I watched him dances with Kiara at the dance floor. He even asked almost of the girls for a dance. I waited for him to ask me too but he never dared to look at me and asked me. To keep this night enjoyable for me, I also accepted all of the dance invites I received. It was funny to think that almost of the guys asked me. That night was fun though. But I know it was funnier if Arthur asked me and danced with me too.
New school year came.
I didn't expected what happened. This year is a different one. It's also the special one for me.....for us.
When I went to school, I noticed how guys started to stay away from me. They don't even throw a gaze at me like the usual. Girls look at me with envies written in their eyes. Suddenly, my mind was filled with questions. What is this all about?
Then, I saw him.
I saw him leaning at the wall in front of my classroom. He was looking directly at my eyes.
"Arthur," I uttered. He smiled at me.
He planned everything, from the very start up to the last. He only gave me a year to enjoy someone's company!
He told every guys at school who likes me to dance with me at the Senior's Ball. He even let them to court me. In just one condition, he only gave them a year. It was their last chance to have my heart and likes them back. Because after that, they will stay away from me and never bother me anymore. Well, same for him. He also gave himself a year to entertain those girls who likes him. For them also, to have his heart and likes them back.
Well, he courted me. Then, we became a couple months after.
"Hey, baby!" An arm suddenly hugged my waist. I heard him chuckled when he saw what I'm doing.
"You've read it again huh? How many times did your read it now?" I smiled.
It was the book she published years ago. It was the book that Ariela's wrote for Arthur.
"I just can't help but to laugh at her. She's pathetic!," I exclaimed. I looked at Arthur and saw his smirk.
