13. Voltron vs Airachnid

One day while the Paladins are checking out a planet near Cybertron. Naturally Hunk, Keith, Lance and Pidge had never heard of Cybertron before, but Shiro had. Unfortunately an old enemy was living on the planet that the Paladins were on.

And yes, I know that Shiro is NOT Jack Darby. But for the sake of this chapter he is.

When the Paladins stepped out of their lions they looked at their surroundings. They had never been out this far in space, except for Shiro.

"Alright, don't go too far and be careful." Shiro told Hunk, Lance, Keith and Pidge.

"We will." Pidge said as she looked at Cybertron.

"And Pidge, no sneaking off to Cybertron. We don't know how they'd handle a human." Shiro said seriously as he remembered how Ratchet had reacted to him.

"Fine." Pidge muttered, wishing that she could go to Cybertron.

Shiro, Keith, Lance, Hunk and Pidge then started walking in different directions. When they heard about the strange activity on a planet near Cybertron they thought that Zarkon was causing trouble again. So here they were, checking it out. As Shiro was walking he spotted Airachnid. He quickly hid behind something so that she hopefully didn't see him.

Unfortunately she heard him. She made sure to be very quiet as she went to go see what had caused the strange sound. Ever since she forced Shockwave to cure her of the terrorcon virus she had gone back to her normal, sadistic ways. When she saw Shiro trying to hide she smirked.

"Well, hello, Jack. Long time no see." Airachnid said as she showed herself.

"Airachnid! What are you doing here?" Shiro asked her as he started trying to get away from her.

"Oh, nothing much. Just waiting for some prey." She said seductively.

Shiro knew better than to trust her. Thankfully the black lion came to his rescue. When Airachnid saw the black lion she naturally tried webbing it up. Unfortunately she was powerless against it. So she transformed and flew away. But as she left she promised Shiro that she would eventually capture her.

When the other Paladins came to look for Shiro they saw the black lion was covered in webs. He told them that they all needed to get as far away from the planet as possible. So they all went to their lions and flew back to the Castle. Before Allura opened a wormhole Shiro took one last look at Cybertron and wished that he could go see if Arcee was there.
