20. TFP Holoform Optimus x Fem! Human Reader - I will always love you

You have known the Autobots for a little longer than Jack, Miko and Raf have. You are also Optimus' human girlfriend. After he came back from the Arctic with Arcee after their mission together you start to wonder if he actually loved you.

It had been a few days after Optimus and Arcee had gone on a mission to the Arctic. You noticed that he had been spending more and more time with Arcee. You knew that he deserved to be happy, and Arcee would live way longer than you would. So with a heavy heart you decided to break up with him. When he asked you to go for a drive with him you decided to break up with him once you both were alone.

The drive was mostly silent since you didn't feel like saying very much. Optimus noticed how quiet you were. You didn't even look when his holoform appeared in his driver's seat.

"Y/n, is something troubling you?" Optimus asked you softly.

"K-kinda..... Optimus... I-I think that it would be best if-if we stopped dating...." You said as tears threatened to fall from your eyes.

"Have I done something wrong?" Optimus asked you, not wanting you to know that he was internally panicking.

"No, you haven't... It's just that I'm a human and my lifespan is way shorter than your's is. I think that you would be better off with Arcee..." You said as you tried not to cry.

Optimus decided to drive somewhere so that you both could watch the sunset together. When he parked in one of the canyons near a cliff his holoform went over to you.

"Y/n, I understand that you are saddened that you will not live as long as I will. But I will always love you." Optimus said as he cupped your cheeks in his hands.

"Really?" You asked him as a few tears slid down your cheeks and onto his hands.

"Yes." Optimus said as he kissed you.
