Chapter 37

Corbs grabs his phone and he opens snapchat, "I look weird bald" he says while he rubs over his head. I smile, "Well yeah but it kinda suits you though" I say. He laughs, "Thanks Ellie, I'm feeling better now my hair is gone. I don't have to worry bout washing it" Corbs says, I laugh and shake my head. "Oh i asked Jonah and Jack to come over, I thought that you guys might have some fun" I say, "They're coming?" "Yup they're on their way!" I say. Corbs smiles at me, "You're the greatest twin alife" he says. I laugh, "I know" I say while I throw my hair over my shoulder. Corbs and i laugh. We both clean up the hair and I help him to his room so he can change.

After like 2 minutes i hear a knock on the door, I throw the last straws of hair away and i open the door. It's Jack. "Hey!" he says with a huge smile, "Hi! Come in!" I say and i step aside. "You have such a cute apartment! Do you live here alone?" he asks. Oh yeahh, we haven't told him anything bout our parents... "Oh me and Corbs just live here, it's just the two of us" I say while i awkwardly smile. "Oh really?! That's so cool!" he says. I just smile, "Corbs is changing" I say while i walk to the small dining table, I grab the razor and scissor and i put it on the kitchen counter. "Oh, did it happen?" Jack says while he points at the scissor and razor, "Oh uh yeah" I say and i look at my hands. Luckily for me Corbs opens his door, he's leaning on his walking stick. "Hey Jack!" Corbs says while he slowly walks up to him, "Hey man! How you doing" Jack asks when Corbs sits down across him. "I've been better" Corbs says while he chuckles. "Hahah yeah no i get that" Jack says. "How are you? I see you still have your hair" Corbs says, "Oh yeah, I'm almost done with my chemo! And mine wasn't aggressive to my hair..." Jack says, "Oh really? That's nice!" Corbs says while he rubs his bald head. "But hey man, it looks great on you!" Jack says and Corbs immediately smiles. I am happy i texted him to come over.

After like 5 minutes there's another knock on the door, I walk there and i open it. I see Jonah and Esther, "Hey! I thought that you maybe wanted to do something fun with Esther" Jonah says, I smile. "Yes i would!" I say and i let them in. "Do you guys live here alone?" Jonah asks, "Oh yeah" I say and i close the door behind them, please don't ask questions. "Oh okey cool" Jonah says, I sigh out of relieve. Jonah walks up to Corbs, "Oh hey man, you look great bald" he says while he rubs Corbs his bald head. I smile, "So do you want to go out?" Esther asks, "Uhh i don't think i have the right clothes for that" I say laughing. I never went out before. Esther puts her hand on my shoulder, I flinch. "Oh sorry" Esther says and she immediately pulls her hand back, "Oh no i am sorry i just kinda startled" I say. I hate it when people touch me without a warning. The only person who can suddenly lay a hand on my shoulder is Corbs, if other people do it i get the horrible feeling again. It reminds me of old and horrible times...
