Chapter 115

5 days later

Today is the day, today is the day that Corbs needs to wake up. I'm really losing my hope here, he's not doing better at all! He's been on oxygen since Wednesday, his vitals keep going down. I'm so incredibly scared that he's not gonna make it.... I haven't been to school since the beach day, Daniel has been with me every single day, his parents are coming home tomorrow and i'm kinda scared for them too. I just have way too much going on right now to focus on them, all my attention goes to Corbs, I need to work 5 hours today but then i'm going straight to Corbs, I needed to take this shift. Bills are piling up and i'm not asking Daniel for help. I get out of my bed and i change into my work clothes, I walk to the kitchen and i make a bagel for myself.

When i finished my breakfast i put on my coat and i walk down the stairs, Daniel's Jeep is already standing there, he's still driving me around.

"Hey" I say while i get in, "Hey" Daniel says and he starts the car and he drives to the restaurant.

When we arrive there i get out of the car and i say goodbye to Daniel. He's gonna pick me up and bring me to the hospital as soon as my shift is over. I enter the restaurant and I walk to the coffee machine, Jonah's also working today so that's nice. We just talk during work and my shift goes by very slow.

Corbyn's pov:

"Hey Corbyn, it's Jack, I know you can hear us cause Elle searched that up. I just wanted to say something real quick before i have to go to school. You have to wake up today, I know Elle said that, I said that and Jonah also said that, I know that you also know that today is your last day to try, cause if you're not waking up today, the doctor's are going to put you down. I know it sounds good to just die, cause i know that you know that if you wake up you're going to me in so much pain and you feel everything again. But i just wanted to tell you this: Elle needs you Corbyn, she's losing it, she's been crying herself to sleep these past few days, her eyes are red and puffy and no one can put a smile on her face, not even Daniel the guy that I think she likes. So please Corbyn just try harder, just try a little bit harder for Elle. I don't know what happened in her past but i know that she's been through a lot, you've been through a lot too but she needs you. If you're not waking up anytime soon she's gonna lose it completely, Daniel's been forcing her to eat but i'm not sure that she's gonna eat if you're gone. Just know that if you don't wake up today you're gonna die, but you're gonna take Elle with you" Jack says, he lets go of my hand, I want to say something but i can't! I want to move my head or my hand, but i just can't!! I know I need to wake up, but i'm so scared for the pain i'm gonna feel, I just know i'm going to be in pain. But Elle.... I didn't know that she was doing so bad, she always told me stories, she never told me that she was losing it! I don't know why but i just always thought that she was better off without me... I'm such a pain in the ass.
