Chapter 84

When school is finally over i walk to my car, "So let's go to mines and then arrive at the party around 10pm" Trevor says and i nod, "Yeah sounds good" I say and i start the car. When we arrive at Trevor's house i get out and we all just joke around in the gaming room. We're playing fortnite and other games.

When it's 9pm we order some pizza and then we go to the party, I'm going by myself with my car, the rest of the boys are going to walk. I'm not gonna drink so i can drive my car after the party.

I park my car down the street and i walk to the party, there are already a lot of drunk students walking around the property. I enter the house and i grab a red cup and i fill it with water. I walk back to the living room and i just sit down at the couch, Trevor sits down next to me and we just start to talk about the game we have tomorrow.

When it's like 1pm i spot Elle grabbing a drink, I can see by the way she walks that she already had a lot. I get up from the couch and i walk up to her, I never did this before cause i know that when people are drunk they're more vulnerable. "Hey Elle" I say and she looks up at me, "Heeyyy" she says, her breath smells like alcohol, she already spilled it on her t-shirt. "How many drinks did you have?" I ask while i reach to her cup, "Don't know and don't care" she says while she giggles, when i grab her cup she holds it even tighter. "Don't take it" she says and she pouts at me, "I think you had enough" I say and i try to take it from her. "no no nooo" she says and she gives me puppy eyes, oh gosh. "Why don't you go home?" I ask and she looks at the ground, "Don't know how" she says, "What do you mean?" I ask and i put my hand under her chin and i slowly left her head. "I kinda forgot how to get there" she says and she giggles again. I slap my head with my hand, oh gosh she is far. "Well i'll just help you" I say and i grab her hand. She immediately pulls her hand back, "No, your mom will get mad" she says and she slowly walks backwards, "My mom?" I ask and she puts her hands in front of her mouth, "You never heard that daniii" she says and she giggles again. I am so confused right now, should i still bring her home? Yeah no of course i should! I can't leave her here, I look around me and i see that some guys are already scanning her. I clench my jaw and I grab Elle's wrist again, "Don't worry bout my mom" I say while i pull her to me, "i'm bringing you home, no discussion" I say and she just nods. She can't even walk straight anymore, I try to guide her to the door but she keeps getting distracted and wants to stay again. Eventually i just pick her up and i carry her to my car, "Daniii" she says, "Yeah?" I reply and i look at her. "Don't tell your mom" she says and i frown, I really wonder about what she's talking. "Uh i won't" I say and she smiles, "Goood" she says with a drunk voice and she starts going through my hair with her hands. It feels so incredibly nice, Daniel you need to focus! I take a deep breath and i continue the walk to my car, why did i decide to park my car so far away? When i finally reach it i put her on the seat and i put the seat belt on, I close the door and i walk to my side. I get in and i see her looking at herself in the mirror. I start the car and i turn on the heat cause it's not that hot outside. "What are you looking at?" I ask, "I don't look like Corbs at all" she says, who's Corbs? "Uhh who's Corbs?" I ask. She's not looking away from the mirror, "My twin, but he's prettier" she says and i frown. Is she making this all up or does she really have a twin? Drunk people alway tell the truth right? "You have a twin?" I ask and she nods. "But not for long probs" she says and she closes the mirror and she starts to open tiktok. She sings along with the songs on there. I smile and i start my car, I still wonder about who she's talking, plus what does she mean with not for long? Is he dying? Nahh she would've told me about him right?

I drive to the apartment she lives at and i carry her to her door, "Where are your keys?" I ask and she holds up her little backpack. "Somewhere in here" she says and she giggles again. I put her down and i take the backpack from her, I search through it and i find the keys, I open the apartment and i pull her inside. I was here like 4 weeks ago and it looks a lot different. There are clothes everywhere, it's dark, I try to turn on the lights but it isn't working. I look at Elle and she looks at her hands, "Electricity is expensive" she says and then she walks to the kitchen, when she's halfway there she starts walking slower and she almost falls, I quickly walk up to her and i wrap my arms around her waist.
