Chapter 52

When i wake up the next morning i feel pretty rested, I get out of bed and i braid my hair in two french braids. I am pretty happy with the results! Since it's so incredibly hot it's nice to have my hair a bit out of my neck. I put on some concealer and i brush my teeth, I quickly make some breakfast and i put it on the table, I wake Corbs up and i help him to the table. He's still pretty pale but he does look better than yesterday, I grab the thermometer and i take his temperature. I wait a bit till it's done, I hear a beep which means it's done, I look and it's the same as yesterday. So that's not bad but also not really good. Corbs and i eat some breakfast and then i need to leave to go to school. I want to get in my car when I see Daniel's black jeep standing there. I close my door again and i look closer to see if someone's inside. "Hey Elle!" he says while he gets out of his car, "Uh hi, what are you doing here" I ask suspicious. "We're gonna work on the project today at my place to i thought it was a good idea if i would pick you up" he says while he smiles at me. "Oh uh sure" i say and i slowly walk to his car, "What if i weren't available today?" I ask and i get in the car. "I knew that you were available" he says and i frown. "How?" I ask and i am honestly curious. "Well i checked your schedule at the restaurant, and damn your working a lot" he says. "You are such a stalker!" I say and look out of the window. I have the feeling that there's something else, he's not just picking me up cause it's faster there is a another reason.

When we arrive at school i get out of the car and i start to walk to the school.

The first classes go by very slowly, I had history again and i had physics. I hate those subjects. When i walk to my locker i see Samantha standing by hers, I can hear what she's saying. "Omg i can't find that old and stupid car of Elle! I wanted to sabotage it again but for good now!" she says. Omg no did daniel pick me up so my car wouldn't be sabotaged? No no that can't be true. I turn around and i enter the cafeteria, I see Zach sitting at a table so i walk up to him. "Hey" I say while i sit down across him, "Hey elle" he says while he turns off his phone. "Addicted?" I ask and he laughs, "nooo why would you think that" I smile and we both start to eat our food. He's pretty nice so i am happy that i at least know someone, when i put my tray away i run into Samantha. "Where's your car" she says while she scans my outfit and looks at me in disgust. I am just wearing some shorts with a black tank top. "Not here" I say and i walk away, I am kinda scared that she wants to grab my hair again but she doesn't do that this time. Maybe cause i said something about it yesterday. I walk to my locker and i change my books. I hear footsteps approaching and i look over my shoulder to see who it is, it's Daniel... Gosh this guy is such a stalker. "So i saw that Samantha approached you in the cafeteria" he says, "So?" I ask. "By the way, why did you make up such a bad excuse to why you were picking me up? I know that Samantha wanted to sabotage my car" I say and i see that i busted him. "Oh uh yeah, I don't know" he says and he leans against the lockers, he looks at his hands and he stays silent. "But thanks" I say and he immediately smiles at me, "Of course". "So after this class we're done and we'll go to mine okey?" he asks and i nod, "Yup" i say. Then the bell rings so me and Daniel walk to class.
