Viper liked being alone, he was used to being alone. That's why it was odd having new people bustling around, he wasn't used to them. One in particular was rather, interesting.. That being Jericho, he always seemed to be flirting with everyone. Including Viper, Viper tried to push it away. Though he couldn't lie, it brought up odd feelings inside of him. It brought up feeling he most definitely wasn't use to, it brought him love.

It was odd, how a simple flirt could make him feel. Viper wasn't use to it, though he wasn't entirely against it.

Jasper had teased him for awhile about it, making jokes on how the notoriously cold-hearted dragon slayer could be such a softie. Viper, of course, made him stop teasing him. But still, it made him question everything. That night Viper didn't get sleep, his thoughts running.

Then Kay came into the picture, Viper could tell she was utterly in love with him. Though Viper didn't feel the same, in fact, nothing made him feel like Jericho made him feel. Viper was confused, Kay would be an amazing partner. He just didn't feel anything towards her. Once again, sleep never came to him that night

Memories.. They came flooding back, he had finally found the answer. Do what he usually did, brush him off. It hurt at first but it was for the best.. He couldn't hurt him, not here, not ever.

Love was a myth, hurt is all that came from it.. And so, Viper brushed it off.

A/N: No comments expect that Viper and Jericho are idiots in love but always bruised and Broken 💔. I really don't know where I'm going with this idea but eh. Maybe a soulmate AU, I don't know. Y'all have any ideas?
