Chapter 35- The Kaminoan

"Boba, good to see you again"
The Kaminoan greeted before letting us go inside the building. I took off the drenched coat and held it since I didn't know where else to put it. The kaminoan was really kind that she called two more to help with the coats and the crates Boba was carrying "yeah no, i'm fine carrying this" he rejected the help from the kaminoan as he held the crates "where can I get this clothes cleaned?" He asks the female Kaminoan but the male Kaminoan who offered him some help answered his question, Boba glanced at me and mouth a "i'll be right back" before he left. I was left with the female as I watched him walk away.

"Kira? Kira Skywalker?" The voice of the female Kaminoan called my name. I froze in position as I slowly turn my head towards her "h-how do you know my name?" 'Uh-oh, am I in trouble?' Worry start to flow through be not noticing that I was in her embrace. 'Huh?' My mind was puzzled by all of this, but I didn't want to be rude to her, so I kindly returned the hug. She soon lets go and stood up "i'm so glad to see you again, I was so worried about what happened" I sigh "what? Because of my accident? Look, what happened was that one day I was training with my brother luke and I tripped hitting my head hard against a tree log which caused some memory loss"

I glance over a group of clones walking past us "so...I don't know what does that have to do with me almost dying?" I turn to her. The Kaminoan gave me a skeptical look while she place her hand over her cheek "how odd, that's not what Boba told me" she comments "Boba? What does boba know about it?" I raise a brow, interested on what she has to say. The Kaminoan lowers her hand and used it to push me gently to walk with her "I think you might want to take a seat if you want to know" I followed next to her as I listened "okay? No problem" I accept. The walk comes to an end in front of a door "here we are" The Kaminoan scans her hand till the door eventually opens 'wait a minute'

Flash back

"Father? Why are we here?"

"You must stay here where you're safe while the Death star its completely built"

'What?' I whispered.

"Don't worry Vader, Kira is safe here, maybe she and Boba can be friends"

"I owe you one Jango fett"

'Jango...FETT?!'

End of flash back

"Jango fett is...Boba fett's father?" I mumbled. "What was that?" The Kaminoan asked as she makes her way inside the room. "Oh! Uh, nothing" I look behind me incase Boba was maybe was near, no sign of him still. I enter the room, hearing the door close behind me. I make my way to the table the Kaminoan was sitting and sat opposite to her. "So, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" I fidgeted nervously with my fingers when a loud thunder stricked, making me jump in my chair 'jeez!!' That caught the Kamnioan's attention "are you alright?" Her voice sounded concerned about my sudden action. "Ah! Yeah...yeah im fine" I look towards and outside the window, watching as the rain poured down "I just don't understand why I am so jumpy with thunder, I was never like that"

I turn my gaze back to the alien "well, that might have something to do with what im about to say" I gulped down my saliva with a small unsure nod.

"Yousa've been awake all night plansa(thinking) about someth, what is it? Is it about kira?" The clumsy gungan played with my helmet as I paced back and forth in the room. "I've got to bring her back" I tapped my chin "But shesa hates us! Shesa knows wesa lied and kept secret from her, what maken yousa think shesa wants to comin back?" This time jar jar's voice came out robotic and bit loud from the helmet. I stop pacing and turned to the gungan "she doesn't hate us Jar jar, she doesn't know we did all that to protect her" I reply. Jar jar lift the helmet to reveal his face and spoke "What about what yousa told mesa dat shesa said back at dha death star?"

My heart skipped a beat as I remembered the look on Kira's face, all the anger, rage, betrayal. I hated it. Taking a deep breath I respond "she didn't mean all that, I know she didn't, It was all out of anger, the betrayal, but..." I look down as my expression changed to a sad one "I know she didn't mean it" I close my eyes for a few seconds when they land on a picture of Kira and I when we were training together back at the bounty hunter academy. Jar jar notices and grabbed the picture. Something caught his eyes that made him turn the picture to read what was written behind "yousa have a crush on her?" My body stiffen at the question before I snatched the picture away from him. "N-n-no!" I chuckle nervously "it's just as friends jar jar you crazy goofball"

I put the picture away in my pouch before clapping my hands once changing the subject "anyway! Wanna come with me and bring Kira back?" Jar jar takes a moment to think while his head was still inside the helmet "Sure! But if is doesn't work, don't spake(say) mesa told yousa so" he said playfully. I roll my eyes. I grabbed the helmet off of him and got ready to go "then lets go" I exit my room with the gungan catching up behind me.

"Akari! Jar jar Binks! Where are you two heading off to?" Jar jar and I exchange glances "uh-" I start "oh" jar jar finishes.
