Chapter 56- Fear is the path for the dark side

My eyes couldn't stop eyeing the beautiful female infront of me, she rocked that black dress, but its also doing something to me that I can't control that well. I was a strong feeling of wanting her, it happened yesterday and its happening now, every time I grow needy because of her and now that she's wearing this dress, can I control that feeling? No. My hands grab her by her hips, lifting her up so her face was to my level as my left hand skillfully wrap her legs around my waist while the other one moved to her back supporting her so she doesn't fall. Her cheeks were a hint of pink as for her expression, she was shocked. Before I could do anything, I wanted to at least have her permission before I end up screwing up, in order to do that, I need to come clean with a few things...I just hope I don't make a mistake "Kira I- didn't lie that I wish I was something more that just your friend" my voice was a calm as it could be. "Boba I understand" she cups my cheeks with her soft small hands.

I shake my head under her touch "no, you don't sweetheart" her brows frown puzzled. "Remember what you told me? About forgetting the past and start new? Have new memories together?" She nods slowly. "I've been thinking about that and...I want that, I want to make new memories with you, forget my past, our dark past and just start fresh" her brows go back to normal before her eyes becomes surprised at what she was hearing from me right now. "Y-you really mean that? But I thought you want me to remember the past cause I needed to" she release my cheeks. "I know baby, but the truth is, that's only hurting us, the past is what hurting us" She takes time to think as I take this time to fix her legs since they were slipping down my waist before I return my hands where they were originally.

"Boba, you really mean it? You're not just saying this because of something else?" I understand why she was asking me this type of question, so I wasn't mad or hurt. It was kind of my fault for telling this things while holding her this way, probably makes her think that I want her for my satisfaction when I really want her because I truly love her. "No sweetheart no, I'm saying all of this from my heart, I'm telling you all of this because I love you and not because I want you for my satisfactions, I would NEVER do that to you" I pecked her cheek. Her head slightly turns to the left as her hand was placed on my naked shoulder "I like you Boba fett, believe me I do, but now I'm confused because okay, yes I do want to start fresh with you, but you told me you wanted me to take my time for my memories to come back and now you're saying all of this?"

I close my eyes taking deep breaths "I know...and im sorry im confusing you its just...I don't...I don't think I can wait much lunger" a small gasp came from the female on my arms. I open my eyes again to see her staring in disbelieve "w-what? Boba? What do you mean?" Her voice turns to a sad tone. "Kira I-" I exhale through my nostrils. "I'm a bounty hunter, you know that right? Know to be feared by many and yada yada...thing is, I've been waiting for a while for you to remember me and nothing has come, at least, not enough to look at me as the boba fett you knew" her hands fall off my shoulder, I can sense sadness in the air 'what am I doing?' "I don't get it? What does this have to do with you being a bounty hunter?" I set the female down to the floor so she could stand up on her own. I didn't want to answer that question cause that's the question that's part of the problem I've been having recently.

Kira was being pushy and eager to know the reason till I snap at her "I HAVE GONE SOFT KIRA! THATS WHY! THAT'S ALSO THE PROBLEM I'VE BEEN HAVING LATELY! THE ONE I DIDN'T WANT TO TELL YOU!" I caused her to back away a few inches away from me, making her expression quickly change to a frightened one. I wanted to just shut up and not snap at her like this but I couldn't contain myself anymore. "I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MEAN! CRUEL! HEARTLESS! BUT EVER SINCE I FOUND YOU I'VE BEEN NOTHING BUT A DUMB-SOFT HUNTER!" My fist clench tight causing my arms to tense up, I didn't know what I truly wanted at this point, her? Or my reputation as a bounty hunter?. "I'M AN ASSASSIN KIRA! NOT A LOVING PERSON! I'M SUPPOSED TO BE LOOKING FOR JOBS THAT HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF BOUNTY AND CLAIMING THEM!" "Boba stop..." her voice was breaking, but I didn't realize it. "EVERYTHING WAS GOING SO WELL FOR ME UNTIL I DECIDED TO FIND YOU THAT DAY!" I stump my foot hard against the floor making the female flinch and fall to the floor' that's when I realized everything I said and did.

My ears picked up sobbing sounds coming under me and look down to see Kira sitting fetus style in the corner crying, my face got from the angry guy to the soft guy 'what have I done...' I quickly crouch down to her level to quickly spot her small body tremble, it immediately broke my heart to see her like this for the first time and what caused her to be like this, was me. I slowly extend my hand towards her only to cause her to move away from it. "K-kira?" I managed to get my hand to touch her wrist for a few seconds "don't touch me! Stay away from me!" She exclaims, fear coming out of her mouth. 'Don't tell me I-' I didn't even want to finish that sentence in my head, fearing it might be true, so I continued to try and calm her. "Kira...It's me, boba" "you're a monster" she comments. My eyes wide "nonono! Kira don't say that" I accidentally out of fear of her comment, cup her cheeks making her turn to look at me only to get her to use the force on me.

I was pushed away from her and hit the wounded area on my back with the wall "ARGH!" I grunt, feeling that burning sensation along with that sharp pain coming back again. "You're not the boba I once knew" "agh!" I continued to grunt as I lift my face, seeing her stand up. "The boba I knew wouldn't say those things, he WOULDN'T HURT ME LIKE THIS!" She yells, tears streaming down her cheeks like waterfalls. I attempt to stand up as well but the pain was unbearable 'dammit!' I thought a curse. "I don't ever want to see your face again boba fett, YOU HEAR ME?!" "No...Kira please, don't say agh!" I tried to stand up once again, this time I did but I couldn't stretch my back so it could be straight. "Please don't say that" my eyes began to tear up. "Sweetheart-" "DON'T SWEETHEART ME!" She uses the force once again causing me to fall to the floor on my butt. "You only cared about yourself!"

"That's not true" I respond immediately, knowing that this wasn't true at all but her thinking it is made me feel a sharp pain in my heart as if someone stabbed me from the back. "I only said that I have gone soft ever since I found you and that I don't felt the same anymore-" "and that's not caring about yourself?" She asks. I kept my mouth shut for a bit before I spoke again "Kira I care about you too" I stand up carefully cause of the pain. "I care a lot about you, I care about us, but Like I said, I don't feel like myself anymore, I felt like something is missing in my life" I tried to make her understand how I felt only to fail. "Yeah? Well you can be like how you used to be...with ought me" she walks past me. "No, hey! Kira don't leave!" My heart pounds for being scared of the idea of never seeing her again and this time for good. I grab her her wrist to stop her "don't do this please" I begged. Kira yanks her wrist off my grasp and turns around "told you not to touch me boba fett"

Finally, a tear runs down my cheek infront of her cold eyes that once were soft and cheerful were now cold and filled with tears that only stream down her cheeks every time she blinked. "Don't come looking for me...just don't" with that, Kira walks away and out of the house, leaving me heartbroken and hurt on the hallway 'its all my fault, I shouldn't have told her those things, i shouldn't have snapped at her like that, it wasn't necessary!' I scolded myself in the inside, while on the outside I was begging for her to come back, knowing she couldn't hear me anymore "please...come back"  my ears then picked up the sound of a speeder bike, I didn't owe a speeder bike cause all I use is the jetpack so I got confused for a second, unless..."SHIT! KIRA!!"
