The running felt like hours of work out trying to find this girl in this base, my body was covered in sweat inside all of this armor, my feet are begging for me to stop running and take a rest, not to mention the shakiness of the base due to the rebels attacking. My energy was drained having to run with the jet pack on my back all the time, I was on the edge of giving up when I soon spot a trooper coming out of a room with K.R, I don't know why, but I felt anger rush through me, it wasn't jealousy it was more of...overprotective? Whatever it was made me go over there to them. "Hey!" I shout, grabbing both of their attention.
"Oh, hey" K.R's voice was weak and hoarsely, I glance at the trooper who quickly let go of her arm and walked away, I let out a small low growl so that she won't noticed. Then I turn to look at her but she was already walking away, I managed to catch up to her jogging and turned the jog to her pace of walking. "So, what was that all about?" I didn't put to much thought into my question, I just let it out. "What? The trooper?" She pointed behind her with her thumb before she lowers her arm and respond "it was nothing, he was just helping me out a bit" her hoarse voice just made me want to ask about it, so I did "what happened to your voice?" I kept my signature calm serious tone towards her.
K.R seemed to take a deep breath and exhale sharply though her mouth, there was something more that I didn't know, but I don't want to be too nosey. K.R spoke once she was ready to, but it wasn't the answer to my question, It was something that completely caught me off guard, making my heart skip a beat and my body freeze in position. "How come that trooper know who I am? How does he know my real name? Kira..." the female kept walking forward, now talking to herself as I stood where I stopped in utter shock as the name of my "dead" friend came out of her mouth. 'It all makes sense now, the dream I had at the ship, Akari, The way Leia was trying to protect her from Jabba back at Tatooine, her urge to know about that red saber and lastly...K.R is code name for KiRa'
Shiver ran down my spine with all of this, a feeling that I never thought I could get, I felt a bit dizzy and sot of nauseous from the hard movements of this base 'Kira was in front of my nose this whole entire time' "hey bounty hunter!" The call from her voice snapped me out of my zone, I look to where she was, seeing her point at a entrance that leads up before she ran up the stairs. I shook my head shrugging the nauseous feeling away and start to run again after her. 'She's alive...she was always alive' my eyes began to water but I controlled it so that tears wont run down my cheeks and made me look soft around other people, since i'm known to be the most feared hunter in the galaxy.
I ran up the stairs calling for her "K.R! K.R where are-" "LUKE WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM!?" An echoed yelled was heard from inside of the huge room, I hid behind a pillar right when I spot K.R with Luke. I sneakily peeked at them but they were too far away, so I used my hollow targeter to get a closer look, having now problem with hearing cause this helmet also helped me hear from a far distance. "K.R, calm down, I didn't harm him" 'harm who-' my question got answered when I saw Lord Vader with ought his helmet, on the ground weak. "Look at him Luke!" She points at vader. Luke tries to approach her but the female backs away with her hands near a saber hanging off her belt.
I inhale sounding like a gasp as I continued to watch "you don't understand-" "no you don't understand!" She cuts him off keeping her tone elevated. "All this years, thinking that my father was dead, living in pure lies when all you and leia did was to hide him from me!" Luke sighs sharply, clearly frustrated by her tone and attitude "I didn't know he was my father, yoda told he was but I was skeptical about and thats another reason why I came here K.R, to know the truth coming of him" he explained, thinking that K.R would at least calm down with that, but it didn't work. "Yeah? And that's a reason to do this to him?" Her hand finally grabs the saber "I got a newsflash for you luke..." she stops as she activates the red saber "I won't let you hurt my father" she growled.
"K.R, K.R WAIT!" Luke was attacked by the fuming female but lucky for him, he had the time to activate his saber and stop the red saber from hitting his body. I felt like I needed to do something, but what? I look around this room for anything when my hollow targeter beeps in a warning of something, I looked around again when I finally see a ship by the window, near where K.R and Luke were fighting. It was Akari, she shoots the window open, pieces of flass crashing on the ground as quickly gets in and ran towards the fighting siblings "KIRA! LUKE! STOP!" 'Am I going to let her stop K.R?' I asked myself before I stood up and positioned the hollow targeter upwards my helmet 'hell no'
I jet packed myself towards Akari and extend my arm, letting a rope shoot out of my wrist armor and wrap around her body. "Going somewhere?" I land on my feet carefully and pulled the girl forcing her towards me so that I could hold her still "let me go you son of a bantha!!" She twitched her body trying to get out of my strong hold but it did not work out for her thanks to the rope. "Think i'm going to let you stop K.R from defending her father? Think again" My hold became tighter, hearing a gasp escape her lips "she knows? She knows Vader is her...father?"
