Chapter 30- Goodbye...

The battle between Luke and Kira took long as they released their anger and emotions about everything that has happened, some secrets were out, some lies became the truth but I felt that some things were still being kept by those jedi, I just can't quit put my finger on it. The sound of falling objects, explosions from outside and just the movements from Akari alone kept me from zoning out in my thoughts. "Let go!" She shouts "how many times to I have to say NO!" I shout back, soon hearing the sound of someone stumbling on a bar, the scream of a female and a male was enough to release Akari, pushing her to the side a bit gently and ran towards the bared pit "KIRA!" I jump the bar off, extending my arms towards the falling female.

Akari followed me but she managed to save Luke and bring him to safety. We were on the edge of hitting the ground when once Kira was in my arms, I turned the jet pack on and flew up with her in a hugging position, she was holding onto me so tightly, made me feel really calm and rather soft. "You okay?" I asked calmly, feeling her head move a bit on my shoulder "yeah...yeah I'm okay, uhh" "just...call me Fett" I told.

The bounty hunter let go of me once we were up near the bar Luke and I fell, I unwrapped my arms as well and stepped back from him "thank you, Fett" I rubbed my arm feeling sudden shyness hit me "your welcome" he respond with a nod. That moment I remembered about Luke, so I turned around looking for him, only to see him already inside the millennium falcon with Leia, Akari and Lando Calrissian. My legs ran involuntarily towards the ship as I yelled "THIS ISN'T OVER LUKE! YOU HEAR ME! I WILL FIND YOU AGAIN AND YOU WILL PAY FOR ALL OF YOUR LIES AND SECRETS YOU'VE KEPT FROM ME!" I didn't care if I sounded insane I just wanted to let it out at once.

My eyes land on Leia who was giving me a sad look but I ignored it, feeling anger, rage rush through my body, then I look at Akari, That's when I took off my helmet. Letting my medium black hair with red fall and land against my neck as I glared darkly at the female I once thought was my friend "don't think I forgot about you, Akari" I growled, Akari looked like she was tearing up by ready her body expressions. I then watched as the ship turned and flew away into the distance, leaving me here with the bounty hunter and..."father" I whispered as my eyes widen up a bit and turned around, seeing my dad on the ground coughing trying to get up but his weak body didn't let him. "Father!" I crouch down, getting on my knees next to him and place a hand on his shoulders trying to sit him straight.

He coughs weakly "K-Kira? Is it...really you?" I got closer to him "yeah, Father. its me, Kira, your daughter" I forced out a smile on my destroyed emotionally looking face as it stared at my weak father. "All this years...I thought you were dead" 'dead? What does he mean by that?' "Dead?" I frown my brows confused "after that accident b-" he stops when he glanced at the hunter but then he looks back at me "the accident he told me" he points at the hunter behind me "we searched everywhere for your body or any signs that you were alive, but nothing" his voice was low, slow and was sounding super weak now.

I got a feeling that, he might not stay with me for long, so I decided to ignore about my accident and just change the subject "father, Is this where I really belong?" My voice began to crack up. His hand tucked away some of my hair behind my ear and gave me a small warm smile "yes, you where being trained to be just like me when you were a kid, that's another reason why I built this place, to continue our training..." he coughs "but then we...lost you" he finishes. At that point I just had to give him a big and tight hug, my eyes watering to know that I finally found my father again, that I was never alone, just been kept away from him. "I'm here now dad...but..." I sniffle. "Shhh, Kira. Even If I go now, I will always be with you, watching you from above and always love you my daughter"

He gently pats and rubs my back trying to calm my emotions down at least just a bit until I feel his breathing slowly slowing down. I gently pulled away from the hug and looked down at him "dad?" My arms and legs trembled in fear, knowing that this could be the last time i'll see my father and this time, forever. I hummed a cry as a tear start to run down my left cheek catching my father's attention. "Don't cry..."he wiped the tear away with his thumb "kira" he called "yeah dad?" I respond with a question. Vader took a deep breath before speaking "you seem to not remember some things, but I can tell you this, that bounty hunter that brought you here, is someone you used to know"

"What? Fett?" I look behind me to see Fett waiting patiently with his rifle in hand, I turn back to my father "I don't-" "you'll understand soon..." his breathing hitched "father?" My panic came back at the sight of my fathers eyes slowly closing "father din't, please don't do this...don't go" I gently shock him to maybe keep him away, My hands were now cupping his cheeks, wanting to say something else but he spoke first "Kira, I'll always...love...you..." he stops, taking another breath, the last "I'm so...proud of...you..." his eyes fully closed as head relaxed on my hands, he was gone. "Father? Father! FATHER PLEASE WAKE UP!" I cried. "NOOO!" I shout a cry, knowing that the only family I had was my father, I still had leia and luke, but after what they did, they were dead to me.

I took some time to release all the pain i had by screaming, shouting and crying on my fathers chest. I took a really good and long time till it was time to go, literally. The rebels were now about to attack the center of the base to fully destroy it but I didn't want to leave my father there, but the hunter, even tho he was feeling bad for me, he seemed to grab something before he made me grab my helmet as he then grabbed me and carried me over his shoulder, and start to run away from my father's body. I hit his shoulder trying to make him release me as I cried hard but he ignored me "please let go! I don't want to leave him! Leave me with him!" I sounded like as if I was throwing a tantrum but it was just the grief.

"Dad...I'll make you proud of me, I promise...I love you so much father. I wish I finished my training with you in this base, now that you're gone, I have to train on my own now, find my way alone to become a sith like you and destroy those who hurt you and finish what you started...I don't know how am I going to do that, but I'll do whatever it takes to accomplish that, promise...

"Goodbye.."
