Chapter 86- Work Together

A lot has happened ever since I started to look for Kira, I someone teamed up with a Mandalorian I barely know that well, those jedis thinking they could fool me and then Akari being on board in my ship. Now that we finally have found the new base on this new coordinates, we've been taken by these troopers, forced to be locked away separately and away from Kira, their new lord. This was obviously not planned but these clone have been trained more than they've been trained on Kamino, they are stronger than before.

I kicked and hit the cell's metal bars trying to get out as I shout and curse at the troopers only to receive a punch in the face by one of them. Grunting in pain I listened to one of the troopers shout at me "Hey! Keep it down will you?!" I wipe some blood that was coming out of my nose and snapped "you gonna have to kill me if you want me to stay quiet!" Soon the sound of doors open and then sound of a robotic voice was heard "enough!" The two troopers stood like soldiers leading me to believe that the one who spoke was her.

I look up, my heart beating faster and faster every second but then stops when my eyes landed on a familiar looking mask //no...\\  I look a little up and met kira's eyes, staring back at mine. They didn't feel normal, like how Kira used to look at me...they felt as if someone else was staring back at me which made me feel uneasy, so I looked away. "S-so...this is the new empire huh? This is what you've really been wanting this entire time?" There was no response, only the sound of footsteps getting closer to the cell where I was standing.

I approach the cell where Boba is currently standing and spoke "why are you here and why did you bring those two?" My voice was a bit stern, it was no longer how I used to speak. Boba didn't respond. I took my mouth mask off and repeated my questions "I asked, why are you here and why did you bring those two?" Finally, Boba looked at me eye to eye again. "I came here to rescue you...to get you out of this mess you got yourself into and those two got in my ship, you know I prefer to work alone Kira, or have you forgotten who I even am?"

I shake my head a bit as I rub my temple "I don't need help, as you can see, I'm where I'm supposed to be in the first place" I reply, Boba scoffs "So you plan to stay here? You plan on achieving your father's old shit? Are you just going to forget about the rest of us?! Are you...going to forget about...me? What...we had?" His expressions soften when he finished his sentence, I could tell by reading those eyes that he was hurt, betrayed, disappointed...It made me snap out of my father's control and speak as myself.

"Boba? No, I-I never plan to forget about anything..." I place a hand on his cheek "n-not even about you...about us" Boba frowns a bit "Kira? Is it you?" I nod but then feel my head hurt badly making me groan in pain "s-stop it!" I grip my hair feeling more pain go through my body. "Kira? H-hey! What's wrong?" Boba asks really worried. I couldn't even respond properly since I was trying to fight my father in my head. "He's!"
"He's trying to-"

"Kira, please tell me! I want to help!" Boba spoke.

I almost fell to the ground but the troopers managed to catch me "Lord Kira, we better take you to get taken care off" the trooper stated. As I was getting taken away I shout to Boba "control me!" The doors shut close.

As the doors shut closed I began to think and analyze what she just told me, since it was not that hard to understand, I got in a second "he's trying to control her! Vader is trying to control her! Meaning we are not too late!" I start to look around for a way to get out of this cell since my armor was taken away by the troopers "kriff!" how do I get out of here?! Theres nothing I could use to pick the lock!"

"Maybe I could help"

"Huh?" Akari was standing on the other side of the cell. "How the heck did you get out of your cell? How didn't you get caught?" I was curious. She rolled her eyes and spoke "are you gonna ask questions or are we gonna help Kira?" "Help Kira" I respond almost immediately. Akari then began to pick up the cell door and spoke "you know? I don't know what Kira sees in you but...Once this is all over, I want you to take good care of her" I raised a brow "and what are you? My parent?"

She stands up "I'm just saying, take care of her because...you are the one who won her heart..." I didn't understood her at first but then my eyes grew wide "wait you-" "yes...I did liked her but...I had to let her go when I found out that she's actually in love with someone else...thats you" She reply. I felt a bit awkward by the situation "I'm sorry?" "Don't apologize...its no ones fault, things like this happen" she then opens the cell and I soon walked out to get my armor. It was really quiet when I was dressing up until she spoke again "look Boba fett, I know you said you work alone but...If we work together, this whole situation could be over in just a matter of seconds, just let us help you save Kira and then we go back to...hating eachother?"

I sigh while listening to her, I the turn to face her as I held my helmet. Not wanting to have a longer conversation I talk "let go get Mando then" a small smile appears on Akari's lips and nods

"Lets go"
