Don't leave my side ever again

Chapter 17- The palace

The planet called Tatooine looked rather lonely in a way, the only thing my eyes could spot were the creatures being held with a rope by the Tusken raiders, I heard many stories about them, told to stay away no matter what. They were nothing but trouble or great danger to anyone who comes across them, and to be fair, I don't think I would be near one of them thanks to those creepy masks they wear. The ship's alarm suddenly went off, indicating me something was near or that it was about to- "HOLY LIGHTSABERS!" I lean myself back as my hands pulled at the lever to make the ship fly upwards and not crash against a Sandcrawler.

"Phew..." I let go of the lever, wiping again a seat drop off my face and activated auto pilot. "What a way to enter a dang planet" I snickered to myself. My eyes wondered at what was in front of the ship as I had the holo-map showing on the panel, searching for the palace that Jabba owns. It took a good 40 to 50 minutes of search, but as I was about to give up and leave the planet, the palace roof appeared behind a mountain "woah" I awed, landing my ship far away from the palace so it doesn't look too suspicious. I only had one plan that I hoped it works or else im doomed, and that was...to fit in like I was just a normal bounty hunter looking for a job. 'Yeeaaah I'm so back at making plans' my hands ran through my hair and stop at my neck. I didn't have any more time left so I just grab my helmet, slip it on my head and grab my DC-15 rifle, heavy, but it did the job done.

I also grabbed two detonators, just in case, and then I left my ship on my way to the palace. The sun rays reflected on my armor, able to make someone blind by how bright it was today, not to mention the intense heat, well, I was in a dessert so what did I expect? To snow like Hoth, naaah. Sweat droplets started to form inside the armor, feeling my black tank top start to slowly hug my waist and chest "seriously, how can people live in this dreadful heat? I would've move planets the first day and probably never come back" I talked to myself, my voice coming through my helmet with a female voice, the helmet did not have a voice setting that I could manipulate how deep of high I wanted my voice to sound like the old one. I definetly tricked that dumb green armored bounty hunter by making him think I was a guy "Idiot"

Now being at the entrance of the palace, I was greeted by Gamorreans, they were holding huge axes as weapons to use to anyone who tried to dare enter by force or attack them. My walk stops inches away from the Gamorreans, they exchange glance before pointing their axe at me,waiting for me to start talking. "The name's K.R, I came here to speak to your boss, jabba the hut for a job" I lied, thinking they were to smart to believe that but I was wrong. The Gamorreans lowered their axe and scoot to the side, making way for me to enter the building 'that was easier than I thought' phase 1 was now complete, now onto phase 2, search for the bounty hunter, but...hold on.

'How am I planning to trick the bounty hunter in to coming with me so I can, perhaps, knock him out and bring him to my ship with ought the amount of people that might be inside the palace to notice. All my rambling were soon snapped as the sound of music start to play, looking around and finding myself surrounded by smugglers, bounty hunters, drunk/wasted people and weird looking small creatures. My eyes narrow the area till they land on the boss and owner of the whole place, disgusted and disappointed at how he looked, he was a literal giant slug eating nothing but frogs and...

I look down at the chain he was holding, following at what it was holding. "What in the-" I whisper, seeing a female twi'lek being held captive by the chain on her neck as she dances to the music for the slug. I was doubfounded by all of this, I've never seen anything like this in any other planet that I've ever been too, but I guess that since this is a place for them to hang out, guess they wanted to be entertained as well. 'That chain must be choking her' Feeling bad for the twi'lek, I felt like I needed to help her and maybe forget about what I came her for. Once again, I was brought back to reality when the ground started to shake, holding onto something, thinking it was the earth shaking, but it wasn't. When I look back to the slug, I noticed him pushing a button, triggering the trap door underneath the twi'lek. Thinking it was nothing when the sounds of fear came out of the twi'lek caught my full attention.

It's like as she was feared of a monster underneath the ground, I watched as she begged for her life as she pulled the chains, trying to get away from jabba's control but couldn't. 'I should help her...but how?' I asked myself as the drunk men cheered and laughed for all of this. The twi'lek's scream was enough for me to react quick, Running through the crowd till I was near the twi'lek who was about to fall into the pit , I lift and pointed my arm towards her, were a cable hidden inside my wrist armor was triggered and in an instant, wrapping around the twi'lek's  body. Right when she was slipping on the ground and then pushed to the pit by Jabba, I jet-packed myself upwards, pulling the twi'lek out of the hole and to safety.

"HEY!!" A shout made the music stop, everyone then glanced over at me. 'Shit...'
