Rohit groaned in frustration, as Sonakshi was startled out of her mindlessness.

The sound of the baby's wails grew louder, as Sonakshi pushed at Rohit's chest.

'This is the height!'
He complained.

'Yes! You were at the peak!'
Sonakshi chuckled, as she fixed her clothes, and got off the bed.

Rohit groaned and hit his fist on the bed, trying to calm down his aroused senses.

'Bohot hansi arahi hai tumhe? Didn't hear you complaining!'

Sonakshi flushed, as she quickly fixed his bottle and picked up Arihaan.
But Arihaan didn't take the bottle, and continued crying.

'Oh, ho..'

Sonakshi quickly checked his diaper, but that was also clean.

Rohit forgot his worries, and came hurrying to them.

'Kya hua isse? Diaper..'

'Kar liya check, it's clean!'

'Phir itna kyun ro raha hai? Lao, mujhe do..'

Rohit took him on his shoulder, and began pacing in the room.
Sonakshi hovered, as his wails continued.

'Kya hogaya isse, Sona? Yeh to chup hi nahin ho raha! Phir bottle try karun?'

'Kar lo, lekin mujhe nahin lagta isse bhook lagi hai..'

Sonakshi made soothing sounds, but Arihaan didn't quieten down.

'Mein khud check rakhti hun, ke isse diaper rash na hojaye..to aisa bhi nahin hai..kahin dard to nahin ho raha isse? Mujhe do..'

Sonakshi took him from Rohit and tried checking him, but he was just red, from all the crying.

'Mera beta..kya hogaya..'

As they struggled with him, there was a knock on the door.

They were surprised, but Rohit hurried to open it.

'Kya hogaya mere bachay ko?'
Veena came in looking worried.
'Neechay tak ronay ki awaaz arahi thi..'

'Pata nahin, Mom! Na feed le raha hai, na diaper soiled hai. Bas roye ja raha hai!'
Sonakshi rocked him.

'Lao, idhar to do!'
Veena took him.

'Isse hospital le jaun? Kahin kuch..'
Rohit was getting tensed.

'Kuch aisa nahin hoga..let me see..'
Veena checked him, and laid him in the cot. She lifted his legs and brought his knees towards his stomach.

'Mom! Yeh kya warzish kara rahi ho?'
Rohit said, giving a funny look.

'Sshhhh...'

They looked on in wonder, as suddenly, Arihaan's cries started to recede.

'Yeh kaise..'

Veena continued what she was doing, till he stopped crying, and fell asleep.

'Becharay ko gas hogayi hogi..ab relax hogaya..'

Sonakshi looked on with widened eyes.

'Gas?'

'Han! Aksar bachon mein hota hai aisa, itni fikr ki baat nahin hai. Ab sogaya hai na..'

'Magar aap ko pata kaise..'

'Teen bachay paalay hain maine..'

'Per, woh to kitna time hogaya!'
