'Hum apne bete Rohit ka tumhare liye rishta jo le ke aye hain!'

Veena hugged her sideways.

'Ji?!?'

Sonakshi couldn't have looked more shocked even if she had tried.

'Mat..matlab?'

'Hum log tumhari or Rohit ki grand wedding karna chahte hain..jaise pichli baar nahin ho paayi..har rasam or rivaaj ke saath..'

Sonakshi was at a loss of words.

Suman and Anil were grinning from ear to ear.

'Hum to bohot hi khush hue yeh sun kar. Kitna shoq tha humain Sona ki dhoom dhaam se shadi karne ka. Ab yeh possible ho paayega. Kyun bhaisahab?'

'Bilkul bhabi! Jab se Rohit ne kaha ke woh..'

'Rohit ne?'
Sonakshi interrupted.
'Aise karne ke liye Rohit ne kaha?'

'Bilkul! Rohit tumhare saath dobara saare promises dohrana chahta hai. Ek grand wedding..jo pichlay baar reh gayi thi..'

Anil and Naren shook hands.

'Bohot hi barhiya idea hai bhaee. Rohit to hai hi kamal ka..beta bhi or damad bhi, kyun Suman?'

'Damad se zyada to beta hi ban gaya hai hamara. Bohot hi pyara baccha hai..'

Veena proceeded to give Sonakshi a thaal with mithai and jewelry.

Sonakshi just didn't know how to react. She took the thaal, unable to believe.

'Hum kal hi pandit ji ko bulaate hain..jald as jald ka mahurat nikalwayenge.'

'Ji bilkul Suman ji! Hum bhi chahte hain ke Sona wapas humare ghar ajaye jaldi. Jab tak yahan woh humari amaanat hai..aap logon ke paas.'

There was laughter and merriment, while Sonakshi sat there, fuming inside.

Rohit grinned.

'Sonakshi theek thi na?'  He inquired.

'Han! Thori hairan pareshan lag rahi thi..shocked thi bechari..' Veena laughed.

I'm sure. Her hands must be itching to call me..

He heard a new call coming in his phone.

'Okay Mom! Aap se baat karta hun, doosra phone araha hai..bye bye..'

He looked at the ID.

Sonakshi Rastogi.

Think of the devil..

He picked it up.

'HOW DARE YOU?' he could hear her without putting the phone to his ear.

'Sonakshi..'

'Don't you Sonakshi me! Yeh sab kya naya drama hai? Apne show..kya naam hai..tum..'

'Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai?' he added smiling.

'Han yehi..pyaar hai..'

'Really??' He couldn't help but tease her.
