Chapter 56

Rohit grumbled in his sleep.

Sonakshi shook him awake.

'Rohit!! Utho!! Hamari flight!!'

He suddenly jerked awake.

'What?!?'

'Rohit hum late hogaye hain. It's 7:45!!'

Rohit sprang into action.

'Tum ne alarm nahin lagaya tha kya?' as he dashed to the bathroom.

'Maine to lagaya tha..tumhara kyun nahin baja?'

'Kyunke maine to lagaya hi nahin tha Sona!' he called from the bathroom.

'What? Agar abhi bhi mein na uth ti to? Flight to miss hi hojaati..'

Rohit came out dressed.

'Aisa mein honay nahin de sakta tha..'

He passed by her and gave her a quick peck on her lips.

Sonakshi's eyes widened.

'Rohit! Iss sab ke liye right  time hai kya abhi?'

'Iss sab ke liye har waqt right hi hota hai Sona!'

He winked.

Sonakshi gave him a glare.

Rohit spanked her buttock playfully.

'Now move it woman! Aur late ho rahe hain!'

Sonakshi ran to the bathroom as Rohit rushed to get their luggage downstairs.

After rushed goodbyes, their cab hurried them to the airport.
The early hour worked in their favour, as traffic was minimum.

They ran through the airport to check in.

Several people turned to stare.

Their name was being called for boarding as Rohit took her hand and ran down the passageway connecting the airport building to the aeroplane.

They entered the aeroplane to see hundreds of pairs of blaming eyes staring at them as if they were responsible for delaying the flight. Which they were..but still.

They were finally seated by the window, Sonakshi getting in first.

They had both collapsed on the seat, when the situation hit them.
They both began giggling, which soon turned to full laughter.

Sonakshi put her head on his shoulder.

What a start to their journey!

They entered their hotel room in the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok by late afternoon.

The four and a half hour flight plus the hour to finally reach their hotel, had been tiring to say the least.

The bell boy opened the door to the most beautiful view Sonakshi had ever seen.

The view of the river from the floor to ceiling windows was something to die for.

She moved to the centre of the spacious room as Rohit took their luggage in and tipped the bell boy.

As the door shut, Sonakshi turned around.

Rohit raised his eyebrows in question.

'So?'

Sonakshi ran in his arms and hugged him tightly.

'It's gorgeous! Beautiful! Awesome! Thankyou!!'

She kissed him on his cheek.

Rohit was elated at her reaction.
