Sonakshi looked at him as if he had lost it.

'Mein itni der se tayaar ho rahi thi, or ab jab hogayi hun, to cancel?'

'Sona! Tum itni hot lag rahi ho ke kahin bhi jaane ka dil nahin kar raha ab..yahin rehte hain na..' he ran his fingers over her bare arms.

Sonakshi looked at his fingers and then at him.

'Mr. Romantic Sippy..zyada baaten mat banao..chalo..ready ho jaa ke..'

'But Sona..' he touched her cheek, 'yeh to sarasar zulm hai..'

'Acha? Woh kaise?' Sonakshi looked at him, an eyebrow raised.

'Dekho na..pehle kabhi to tum aise tayaar nahin hui..to mein jee bhar ke to dekh lun..'

'Woh to party mein bhi dekh sakte ho.'

'Phir, yeh jo tum ne kaajal lagaya hai..us se tumhari aankhen..'

'Eyeliner..'

He stopped.

'Kaajal nahin eyeliner..'

'Sona! Shayar ki to band abhi se baja di..'

'Rohit! Chalo hato..jao na..'

Sonakshi held him by his arms and moved him away.

'Theek hai! Nahin jaate..mein wapas change kar leti hun..'

'What?'

He snapped out of his trance.

'Tum hi ne bola nahin jaana..to theek hai, mein change kar leti hun na ja ke..'

She moved forwards. He caught her hand.

'Acha, acha, sorry baba! Ja rahe hain...aise to mat jao..'

Sonakshi hmphed.

'Theek hai, theek hai..mein wait kar rahi hun, jao ready hojao.'

Rohit scrunched his nose as he made his way to the bathroom.

Sonakshi smiled at his back.

Sonakshi sat on a stool at the bar, nursing a fruit juice in her hands, as she looked into the crowd.

Rohit was busy chatting with colleagues and friends. She could see him across the room.

'Hi! Mind if I sit here?'

Sonakshi turned to see a very good looking man standing next to her.

'Uh..sure! Not my property!'

Sonakshi turned her gaze back to where Rohit was.

'You are not an actress right? Or you are new? Haven't seen you around here..'

Sonakshi gave him a glance, trying to remember where she had seen him before.

Probably while surfing the TV channels.

'No! I am not an actress!'

She turned around and sipped her drink.

'A model then?' He was persistent.

'Neither, sorry!'

'Why ever not? You definitely look like one..so beautiful!'
