Chapter 194

The thaal of gulaal fell on the floor in a loud clutter, turning the heads of many.

Arihaan looked the most stunned, as the colour went flying everywhere. His expression changed, and it looked like he was about to burst in tears.
Sonakshi moved the colour out of her eyes, then his, as everyone came running to see what had happened.

'Mama!'
He clutched at Sonakshi and began to cry, the gulaal running down his cheeks with the tears.

'Aww..mera bacha..it's okay. Kuch nahin hua..'
Sonakshi tried soothing him.

'Sona! Arihaan theek to hai na?'
Veena looked concerned.

'Ji, Mom! I think thora darr gaya hai!'

Someone handed her water, and Sonakshi cleaned his face.

'Lao Sona, mujhe de do..'
Rohit hovered behind her.

Sonakshi turned to him, and looked up.
She burst into laughter.
Arihaan stopped crying at the sound, and he also looked up. His expression was even funnier, as he buried his face into Sonakshi's neck.

'Kya hai? Arihaan darr kyun..'

'Rohit!'
Sonakshi continued laughing and the others started too.

'Aray! Aap sab kyun hans rahe hain..'

They all laughed harder.
Ajit began snapping pictures, laughing.

'Ajit! Dikhao mujhe!'

Ajit moved to show him his picture.
Even Rohit gasped, because his whole face was coloured a dark green, only his teeth and eyes visible.

'Bhai! Lagta hai aap ko to sach mein rangon se bohot zyada pyaar hogaya hai!'

'Shut up!'
Rohit said, as he tried wiping it with the sleeve of his kurta. But that served to make him look funnier, as more colours mixed with the green.
Arihaan peeked out from behind Sonakshi's shoulder, as he recognised Rohit's voice.

'Arihaan! Yeh Baba hi hain! Kya yaar! Issi liye mujhe yeh colours nahin pasand..mera beta hi mujhse darr raha hai!'
As Rohit continued to wipe his eyes and nose, Arihaan watched.

'Baba?'
He questioned.

'Yes, mera monkey! Baba! Thank God!'
He moved to take Arihaan, but Arihaan didn't let go of Sonakshi.

'Aisi kaisi Holi hai ke pehchaane hi na jao..'
Rohit continued to complain.

The others started to move away, laughing at Rohit's muttering.

'Chalo bhaee, show khatam..jao jao..Holi khelo..'
Naren called out to the spectators.

Sonakshi turned to Rohit.

'Wah, hubby! Aaj to bina bolay hi rangon mein rang gaye? Bohot achay lag rahe ho!'

'Sona! Tum bhi?'
He looked around, and found where the water hose had been set up for washing.

He quickly walked up to it, and opened it on his face, washing the colour off of it.
He turned to where Sonakshi was still trying to pacify Arihaan.
Leaving the water hose, he went back to them, and called to Arihaan. This time Arihaan's eyes lit up at the sight of Rohit, and he went jumping into his arms.

Rohit felt relieved now, and began to throw him in the air. As always, Arihaan loved it, and began laughing in glee.
Sonakshi saw that Arihaan was okay now, and so she told Rohit and went to see to the guests.

Everyone was having a good time, and there was colour everywhere.

A while later, Sonakshi got free from looking after the guests and decided to go check up on Arihaan. She couldn't find Rohit or Arihaan anywhere. She saw Suman and Veena, and moved towards them. As she did, she saw Arihaan with them, and he seemed happy with his grandmothers.
Sonakshi motioned to her mother, if she was needed, but Suman, gestured that all was okay.
