Sonakshi was a bit perplexed but, she had agreed to help.

Dr. Atul Rai was one of the best psychiatrists in Mumbai and she referred Ronit's mother to him.

Funny, she didn't even know her name.

She did the required and considered her job over.

Rohit was busy on the sets when Sonakshi called.

He didn't answer.

He had some night shoots coming up and for the first time, he wasn't looking forward to it.

Nights were their 'we' time and he was upset.

But Rohit was a professional. He had never made excuses regarding his work and he didn't intend to start, just because he was now married.

He knew Sonakshi would understand completely.

She was a top surgeon, and hadn't reached there just like that.

He knew how much she had struggled after what had happened in her past.

The strongest woman I know. My wife..Sonakshi Sippy.

Just the thought of her was enough to bring a smile to his face.

Sonakshi did not believe in sharing patient confidentiality with anyone.

Patients trusted doctors for a reason and she believed in keeping that trust.

But Sonakshi was somehow a bit apprehensive.

Although she had referred Ronit's mother to Dr. Rai, she brought Ronit to meet Sonakshi.

Sonakshi told her about the day care services available at her hospital and so he came on a regular basis.

Sonakshi really began to like him and she even got some toys for him.

He was the happiest. She even went to meet him at the day care once with his mother.

His mother was however, still a bit of a mystery.

She would often come to sit with Sonakshi on the pretext of Ronit wanting to see her.

'Dr. Sonakshi, aap kitne achay se milti hain. I'm not even your patient, but you give time to me and my son.'

'That's alright. I've actually developed a soft spot for him.'

'Not everyone is like that. Yeh duniya bohot cruel hai you know. Hazaar mun hazaar baaten..'

When Sonakshi looked at her for clarification, she would clam up.

Kya hai yeh?

'Sona!'

Sonakshi was lost in her thoughts.

'Sona! Kahan ghayab ho??'

Rohit snapped his fingers to get her attention.

'Han Rohit! Sun rahi hun..'

'Acha! Abhi kya bola maine?'

'Tum ne...kya bola?' she looked up from where she had her laptop open.

'Maine abhi kaha ke chalo let's make out! Right now!'

That got her attention.

'What!! Kuch bhi Rohit!'
