Veena put a hand to her forehead.

Rohit became angry.

Veena glanced at Sonakshi, who was sitting with her head bent.

'Or Sona, tum! Tum bhi Rohit ki tarha..mein kuch nahin lagti tumhari?'
Sonakshi lifted her head in surprise.

Veena hugged them both.

Veena nodded, while Rohit squeezed Sonakshi's hand.

She looked at him, both remembering last night, and their discussion in the morning.

They had lain together in each others' arms, more relaxed than they had been. Both had been fighting their battles internally, so it felt really good, that both were now in accord.

Rohit sat across from her, in her cabin.

'Well, Dr. Malhotra seemed satisfied enough. Let's see what happens with the test results.'

'Or Dr. Asha?'

'All seems to be okay..but let's see what's in store..'

Rohit had been reclining on the chair, but he sat up.

'Kya?'

'If things don't go the way we are planning? What then..'

Sonakshi got up from her armchair behind the desk and came to his side. Rohit pulled her to sit on his lap, and she leaned her head on his chest.
