Everyone looked shocked at Rohit's answer, even Sonakshi.

Rohit noticed.
He quickly held her hand.

'Mera matlab..jayenge, but abhi nahin..'

Sonakshi noticed the frown on his face as it came and disappeared.

Kuch to bother kar raha hai isse..warna honeymoon jaisi baat ko le ke kabhi na nahin karta..
Rohit..mujhse share nahin karoge..

The talks turned to lighter topics and Rohit and Sonakshi soon left to go home.

Rohit was mostly quiet on the way home.

Sonakshi watched him as he drove.

She noticed a muscle twitching near his temple.

Deciding to wait till they reached home, she remained quiet.

On reaching home, everyone was sitting chatting in the lounge.

Sonakshi and Rohit sat with them.

She noticed that Rohit wasn't his usual self, but he sat there and pretended to be.

Sonakshi finally got him alone an hour later.

'Rohit!'

'Hmm..'

They were lying in bed, Sonakshi's head on his arm, them hugging each other.

'Tum theek ho na?'

She felt him look at her in the dark.

'Han, kyun?'

'Tumne honeymoon pe jaane se mana kyun kiya? Kya tum mere saath..'

He sighed.

'Mana nahin kiya Sona..just that abhi nahin ja sakte..'

He turned to kiss her cheek.

'Or aisa ho sakta hai ke mein apni Sona ke saath na jaana chahun? Never!'

He hugged her tightly.

'Bas thora sa uljha hua hun kisi kaam mein..'

'Okay..'

He settled her against him.

'Rohit?'

'Hmm..

'Tumhe pata hai? Aajkal mein bhi thora pareshan hun. Woh cute sa baccha hai na Ronit? Us ki ma mujhe kuch weird si lagti hai. Mujhe tumhare kaam ke baare mein, tumhari industry, us ke scandals ke baare mein warn karti rehti hai. Mujhe feel hota hai ke woh chahti hai ke mein tum pe shak karun, tumhare baare mein ghalat samjhun. Ke mujhe lagay ke tum mujhse kuch chupa rahe ho! I know tumhe bura lagega ke mein pooch rahi hun..it's not as if I don't trust you..lekin kya aisa kuch hai jo mein nahin jaanti?'

She was met with silence.

She turned her head.

Rohit was fast asleep, his breathing steady.

Oh well..maybe later..

Sonakshi also nestled tightly in his embrace and slept.

A few days later, Sonakshi was doing her ward rounds.
Coming out of a patients' room, she noticed a woman crying in the corner, her face in her hands.

Not thinking much of it, since it was a common scene in a hospital, she moved with her team to the next room.

A couple of rooms later, she saw her again. But this time, the woman was looking at something out the window.
