There were red heart shaped balloons everywhere.

Sonakshi had her mouth open, amazed, when one balloon popped near her.

She started and moved inside.

Rohit! Pagal hai yeh..

She moved closer and saw that there was an envelope on her desk.

She quickly put down her bag and opened it.

'Woh gulaab zyada khilte
Agar mein or tum wahan milte..
Magar..abhi in balloons se kaam chalalo..
Poore cabin mein urra lo..

Is se zyada poetry nahin aati..
Jald milenge..'

Sonakshi was dumbfounded.

She had really thought it was Rohit's surprise. And the mention of those roses. Meaning the same person had done this as well.

Koun hai yeh aakhir?

Sonakshi called in Tulsi and asked her to get the balloons removed and taken to the paediatric wing.

Sonakshi had a busy day ahead and she soon had more pressing things on her mind, than to think more about it.

Rohit looked at Sonakshi as she bustled around the room, putting things away.

'Sona! Aaj to Sunday hai..chutti hai..aao na..mere paas to betho..'

Rohit called out, as she was putting away ironed clothes in Rohit's cupboard.

'Kya Rohit! Kaam hi nahin karne de rahe. Kab se awaazen de rahe ho.'

'To sun lo na..'

'Aati hun baba. Thori der or..'

Rohit opened his phone and glanced through all his notifications.

He got busy, replying to fans, liking posts.

Sonakshi finished what she had been doing and went up to Rohit.

She sat next to him on the sofa and nudged him.

'Rohit! Ab tum phone mein lagay hue ho..mein jaun phir?'

'Hmm..' he continued doing what he had been doing.

Sonakshi took the phone from his hand and waved it in the air.

'Aray, Sona! Yeh kya hai? Phone to do wapas..' he reached out and took if from her.

'Aajkal kuch zyada hi nahin phone mein chipkay rehte ho? Koi nayi girlfriend to nahin bana li? Maloom hua Sonakshi ko chorr ke or koi mil gayi?'

He looked up, his expression serious.

'Kya matlab hai iss baat ka? Mein koi sach mein teenager ya koi bezaar aashiq lagta hun?

'Aray! Mein to mazaq kar rahi thi..'

'No Sona! Aisi baat mazaq mein bhi kyun karni? Mein laakh flirt sahi, meri jitni bhi girlfriends rahi hon, I'm a one woman man. Or maine tumhare ilava kisi se bhi,  kabhi bhi, itna pyaar nahin kiya. To you can't doubt me!'

His eyes were blazing with emotions.

Sonakshi quickly took hold of his face in her hands.

'Rohit! Ofcourse, I don't doubt you! Maine aisa socha bhi nahin. I was just teasing you..I'm sorry.'

He put his hand on hers, on his face.

'Tum sorry to mat bolo. Tum ne aise bola to thora bura lag gaya. Mein sach mein tumhare ilava kisi ke baare mein soch nahin sakta. Tum jaanti ho na?'
