'ROHIT!!'

Sonakshi screamed as she ran towards him.

He had been shot!

His shoulder was bleeding. Sonakshi went down on her knees.

'Rohit! Rohit!'

He opened his eyes, looked at her.

'I'm okay Sona. I'm okay.'

And he fainted.

All that happened after that, was a blurr.

Sonakshi turned to look at Mira. She stood there frozen, a gun in her hand.

The lights went on in the house.

Naren came running out and was shocked to see Rohit on the floor.

'Papa! Call an ambulance! Rohit's hurt!'

Sonakshi called to him as she moved towards Mira.

Just then Rohit's friend Vineet arrived with two officers.

Mira stood there, not moving.

Vineet took the gun from her fingers.

'Oh God! I didn't mean to hurt him! I..I..'

'Whatever you have to say, can be said at the police station.'

Sonakshi came up to Mira and slapped her on the face.

'Agar mere Rohit ko kuch hua na, to kabhi bhool nahin paaogi ke Dr. Sonakshi Rastogi Sippy se paala parra tha!'

They took Mira away while she kept repeating, 'I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to..'

Sonakshi rushed back to Rohit, where Ajit and Rohan had also arrived.

The ambulance arrived with Pulkit in it.

'Pulki! Rohit has been shot! I..I..jaldi chalo.'

'Di! Hum agaye hain..he will be okay..'

The ward boys lifted him on a stretcher.

Sonakshi sat with him inside while, Pulkit sat in the front.

Naren, Ajit and Rohan followed in their car as they raced towards the hospital.

Sonakshi called to him several times. He remained still.

No God! You can't do this! Please let him be okay!!

Sonakshi held the cotton and put on crepe bandages over his wound, which seemed to be below his shoulder, to stop the bleeding.

Soon, they reached her hospital, the stretcher being carried towards the theatre.

The Sippy men arrived behind them, as Sonakshi went calling to several people.

The whole staff became alert, rushing about at once.

Sonakshi rushed in to get scrubbed.

Pulkit came inside.

'Di! Dr. Sharma is on the way.'

She looked at him, a weird look on her face.

'Unko kyun bulaya? Mein..'

'No Di! You can't do this! You won't be able to do this!'

'Are you crazy?' Sonakshi screamed.
'Wahan mera Rohit behosh para hai, usko goli lagi hai, or tum keh rahe ho ke mein..mein..' her voice broke.

'Di! Stop pretending to be brave and so strong! You know ke aap nahin kar paogi!'
