Rohit was on his way home, driving slowly, lost in his thoughts.

I hope ab Sona meri baat samajh gayi hogi..issi mein sab ki bhalayi hai..

He made the turn towards their street. He was passing by the park near their house, when suddenly, his gaze went to a car parked there.

Sona ki gaari? Yahan kya kar rahi hai? We had planned to come here together..lagta hai akele agayi..

He stopped the car and got off, intending to surprise her.

Smiling, he moved to the gate. The sight that met him, stopped him in his tracks, surprising him instead.

Their gazes met and Sonakshi saw a sudden flare of anger and disappointment in his eyes.

Ajit and Pari didn't notice as they moved down further.
Sonakshi hurried to the gate, but Rohit had whirled around and was walking back.

'Rohit! Ruko..'

But he didn't stop. He kept walking to his car, as Sonakshi rushed after him.

He had reached his car and was opening the door, when she caught up with him.

'Rohit! Suno to..'

He turned on her.

'Kya sunun? How you went behind my back to do what I had requested you not to do?'
There was anger in his eyes and his tone.

'I..woh..'

'Kon sa bahana hai tumhare paas?'

'Bahana? There is no bahana..woh to mein..'

Rohit ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

'Maine tum se kaha tha na ke iss maamlay se door rehna? I especially asked you to just let it be, but you went behind my back..'

'I didn't go behind your back..'

'Yeah, right!' He snorted.
'Tum to mujhe bata ke yahan un dono ke saath enjoy karne aayin thi..'

'Enjoy? No, no! You have it all wrong..'

'I do, do I? It didn't look like you were scolding them or anything..'

'I wasn't, but..'

He made to get in the car. Sonakshi caught his hand.

'Rohit, meri baat to suno..'

'Please! Mujhe abhi koi baat nahin karni. Log dekh rahe hain..'

Sonakshi turned to see, that in fact, people were beginning to stare and whisper, recognising Rohit.

'Okay, you are right..ghar ja ke baat karte hain..'

Rohit got in the car, shutting the door. Sonakshi had to step back, as he started the car and drove off, tyres screeching.

Oh God! This..aisa nahin hona chahiye tha..ab mein kya karun?

Sonakshi quickly ran to her car and got in. She drove home, but saw that Rohit's car wasn't there.
A sense of trepidation filled her, but she got off and went inside.

Sonakshi was distracted for a while, as Veena called out to her.

'Aray, Sona! Aaj jaldi aagayin..aao betho mere paas..'

Sonakshi sat chatting with her, but her gaze kept going to the doorway.
Eventually, Veena noticed.

'Kya baat hai, Sona? Sab theek?'
