'Godh bharai? Is it already time for that?'

'Han, almost..matlab seventh month shuru horaha hai na Tanya ka..'
Veena told Sonakshi.

'Wow! Mom, kitna exciting hai na..bohot jald ghar mein baby aane wala hai..'
Pari clapped her hands in excitement.

'Tum bari khush horahi ho..kya baat hai? Already planning shlanning..'
Tanya teased Pari, while Pari blushed.

Tanya and Pari had gotten along well, just as Tanya and Sonakshi did. In all the months, since Ajit and Pari's wedding, all of Veena's daughter in laws were in perfect accord. Yes, Sonakshi and Pari had the advantage ofcourse, but it was a plus that they both got along with Tanya too.

'Tanya, tumhare ghar se sab ayenge?'

'Meri mama or behen to definitely..men not allowed.'

'What?'
Rohan came down the stairs, looking shocked.
'Men not allowed? Matlab I am the baby's father, you mean besides me, na?'

'No, eager Papa..aap bhi nahin allowed hain..'
Veena grinned and the women laughed.

'That is so not fair!'
Rohan pouted.

'What's not fair?'
Rohit had just arrived from work, and Ajit followed close behind.

'Dekho na Bhai, koi function ho raha hai..mere baby ke liye..or mein hi nahin ja sakta uss mein..'

'To tujhe wahan ja ke karna hi kya hai? Beth ke sharmana hai kya?'

Everyone laughed.

'Matlab! Aap un ke side pe ho? Aap log bhi allowed nahin honge..'

'To humain kya karna hai wahan..it's a ladies function, right, Mom?'

Rohit had come to sit beside Sonakshi.

'Correct! Godh bharai mein ladies hi hoti hain..pooja hoti hai, naach gaana hota hai, larkiyan secrets share karti hain..'

'Oh?'
Ajit's ears perked up at that.
'Secrets? Naach gaana? Or hum nahin ja sakte to enjoy that?'

'Nahin!'
All the ladies spoke together.

'Yeh rules kis ne banaye hain..'
Rohan was still grumbling. Tanya squeezed his hand, trying to pacify him.

'Ab aise hi hota aaya hai..'

'Rohan! Tum itni tension kyun le rahe ho? We men shall have our own party..kyun, Ajit?'

'Yeh idea bhi acha hai, Bhai!'

'Tum dono inke side hogaye! Or Bhai, aap itna bol rahe ho, aap ke baby ke liye jab function hoga na, tab poochunga..'

Sonakshi felt Rohit stiffen a bit next to her, but he controlled his voice.

'Woh to jab hoga, tab dekhenge..abhi to filhaal Tanya ki rasam hai..'

Veena began speaking, agreeing with Rohit. Sonakshi took his hand, and squeezed it. He looked at her, blinking to reassure her that he was alright.

The conversation turned to the arrangements. The event was to be held in the coming weekend, so planning was under way.

Sonakshi and Rohit also took part in all the discussions, putting away any painful feelings they had, aside.

Akaash asked Veena, when she put her face in her hands.
