The Sippy and Rastogi households were buzzing with people; friends, relatives, family.
Last minute checks and arrangements were being scrutinised.
In the Sippy House, preparations were being made for the griha pravesh. The hall was decorated with lights, flowers, crystals. It looked beautiful.
Rohit's room was also being decorated upstairs.
Rohit had several ideas and he stood with the planners and gave some of his own ideas.
He knew Sonakshi loved red roses, so most of the decor now consisted of that. Candles and low LED lights were also set.
Rohit continued pointing out the smallest things until he was satisfied.
He called up Sonakshi, but after several rings, there was no answer.
His anticipation was getting higher with every passing hour.
He even texted, but got no reply.
Yeh kya hai? Aaj shadi hai or baat hi nahin ho rahi hai..busy to hogi lekin do minute baat to kar sakti hai na..
Rohit lovingly placed rose petals on the bed, arranging them to form a message for Sonakshi.
He smiled as he thought of her reaction.
He called her again. Still no reply.

In the Rastogi House, more preparations were going on.
The decorators were moving about, setting up chairs, tables, in general, running about.
The mandap was beautifully designed and ready for the ceremony.

Anil and Suman were running about here and there. Pulkit was looking after the food and seating arrangements.
Sonakshi had slept very little in the night, even though she had told Rohit she was going to.
She had laid down on the bed to rest for 5 minutes and had dozed off.
She woke up suddenly, feeling disoriented.
She remembered the day and time and quickly looked for her phone.
It wasn't there.
Pata nahin Rohit ne call kiya ho ga..meri aaj koi baat nahin hui us se..
She went outside her room, looking for her mother.
She found Suman with Pulkit, finalising things.
