Ajit lunged for her, catching hold of her, and lowering her to the ground.
'Pari! Pari!'
He patted her cheeks with force.
'Paani lao koi..' he shouted, and was surprised as Sonakshi handed him a glass, immediately.
He quickly spattered some water on Pari's face, till she came to.
She looked up at him, dazed.
'Kya, Pari! Itna important discussion chal raha hai yahan..is this the time to faint?'
'Shut up!'
Pari said and got up with his help.
Everyone began to laugh.
Suman hurried into the kitchen and came back out with mithai.
'Sab ko badhai ho!'
Everyone congratulated each other. Pari and Ajit came to take ashirwad from the parents. Sonakshi hugged Pari, tightly.
'I'm so happy for you!'
'I'm also very happy, for me!'
Rohit hugged Ajit.
'Bhai! Thankyou! Aap ne..yeh sab..yahan aane se pehle to aap ne mujhe darra hi diya tha, ke sab garrbarr hogayi hai..or uncle, aunty mujh se baat karna chahte hain..or yahan aa ke yeh sab..thankyou! I love you, big bro!'
'Acha bas, bas, ab rulayega kya, pagal!'
They both laughed.
Rohit turned to Pari. She looked at him in awe, as he held open his arms. She went running into them, and hugged him real tight.
'Thankyou, thankyou, Jiju! You are the best!'
'I know!' He laughed.
'Ab Ajit ki chakkar mein meri importance mat bhool jaana..' he teased.
'Aap ki khaas jagah hai na..'
Ajit, who had been watching this exchange, came forward.
'Yeh kya? Mujhe pehle hi se warn off kiya ja raha hai yahan..'
Pari stuck her tongue out at him, as Rohit engulfed him too in the hug.
Rohit moved next to Sonakshi, as everyone was busy talking.
'Sona..'
'Jao! Mujhe tum se baat hi nahin karni..' she looked angry.
Rohit was stunned.
'Aray! Ghussa kyun ho?'
'Kya matlab kyun? You gave me such a hard time over all this, or ab achanak se maan bhi gaye..wow! Nachun kya?'
'Save that for Ajit and Pari's wedding!'
She glared at him.
'So funny! Ha ha!'
'Acha chalo na, rastay mein batata hun..'
'Ab chalo, chalo, bohot tayariyan karni hain..pakki misri to 4 din mein hai na..'
Veena exclaimed.
'Sab hojayega, Mom! Dekhna aap..'
Rohit assured her.
The Sippys finally took their leave, and left.
Sonakshi sat with Rohit, leaving her car at her parents' house.
Sonakshi turned on him as soon as they left.
'What was all this? Being Mr. Nice Brother and all..didn't I deserve to know anything?'
'Ofcourse you did! I'm sorry, Sona. Time hi nahin mila batane ka. Woh Ajit aaya tha mere paas..'
