Sonakshi was stunned.

She threw the newspaper across her cabin in anger.
And in the next minute, she got up and brought it back. Flattening it again on the table, she read the entertainment news again.

'Actor Rohit Sippy being replaced in his show 'Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai?'

Sonakshi glanced through the article again.

'What crap??'

How can they print something like this? Ke because of his accident and his paralysis, he may never be able to work again..how dare they? I'll sue them till eternity..

Sonakshi raised her head in determination.

I won't let them do this to Rohit..I can't!

Without a thought, she lifted her hospital's landline and dialled Rohit's number.

The moment she realised what she was doing, it was already too late.

She heard his voice, and her heart lurched.

'Hello..hello..'

Her voice got stuck in her throat.

Rohit was about to cut the call, when a sound alerted him.
It sounded suspiciously like a sob.

'Hello?'
His eyes widened, as realisation hit.

'Sona...'

His voice, her name..it sent a shiver down her body..

'Tum hi ho na?'

He was met with silence.

'Kuch to bolo..please..'

Sonakshi clutched the receiver of the phone, tears rolling down her cheeks.

He heard someone in the back say, 'Excuse me, ma'am..'

And suddenly, there was the dialtone, as the call was disconnected.

'Sona...oh God!

Rohit had tears in his eyes, too.

She..she called me! Mujhse baat karna chahti thi? Phir ki kyun nahin? Mein bhi tumhari awaaz sun na chahta tha..

Rohit berated himself.

Woh kyun baat karegi mujhse, mere rawaiye ke baad, kis tarha baat karegi mujhse..kitne gadhay ho tum Rohit..

Ever since he had started having sensation in his legs, the therapist had been training him vigorously.

Rohit had made Mohit promise that he would not tell Dr. Sonakshi, as he wanted to surprise her.
Mohit had smiled, and agreed.

He had urged Mohit to come twice a day now, and Mohit couldn't be happier.

Blank called her husband.

A hint of a smile came to her lips.
Tulsi had come in, to ask something and she had put down the phone without speaking.

What would I have said? Rohit, mujhe apne paas bula lo? Paagal ho tum Sona..

She remembered why she had called him and she straightened up.

'I need to get to the bottom of this matter.'

That day, after work, Sonakshi drove all the way to Film City.
