'Owwwwwww!!!!'

Sonakshi hurried to Rohit.

'Oh, God! Rohit! You okay?'

'What an amazing way to wake up!'
He sat up, holding his nose.

Surprisingly, Arihaan continued to sleep through.
Sonakshi sat next to Rohit.

'Kya hua? Lag gayi zyada?'

'No!! Mujhe neend mein chillaane ka shoq hai!'
Rohit lifted his hand from his nose, and Sonakshi examined it.

'Aise dekhne se kya dard ka pata chalega? It hurts like anything!'

Sonakshi took hold of it and turned it one way and then the other.

'Ow! Are you trying to help or damage it further?'
He made a face.

'Come on, Rohit! Bete ka pair laga hai kisi haathi ka thori, ke itna drama kar rahe ho!'

'What the..drama? Tumhara husband takleef mein hai or tumhe mazaq urraana hai? Kaisi doctor ho yar, hamdardi dikhaane ke bajaye yeh sab..'

Sonakshi couldn't help but chuckle at his expressions.

'Aww! Owie hogaya hai mere baby ko?'

'Bura wala!'
He pouted.

'Phir? Kya karen aap ke liye?'

'Well, for a start, you could kiss it and make it better..' he batted his eyelashes.

Sonakshi grinned.
'Oh! So that's your wish..okayyyy...'

Sonakshi leaned down and kissed the tip of his nose.

'I didn't even feel that!'
He complained.

'Sach mein to nahin toot gayi kahin?'
She raised her eyebrows.

'Sonaaaa! Mujhe chott lagi hai or tum mujhe sata rahi ho!'

'Acha, acha..theek hai..'
She leaned over and kissed his nose, her lips lingering.
She moved back, to see his gaze now on her lips.

'Jab pyaar aa hi gaya hai to thora naak ke neechay shift..'

Sonakshi narrowed her eyes at him, and he pretended not to see it.

'Mazay lagay hue hain? Nose ke saath lips free?'

'Chalo uss wajah se nahin to raat mein late aane ki bharpayi hi kar do..'

Sonakshi suddenly felt guilty.

'Woh, Rohit! I'm so sorry! I tried getting away on time, but woh patient tha na..usse mein..'

'Ssshhh!'
Rohit placed a finger over her lips.
'I understand! Bas, maine or Arihaan ne tumhe bohot miss kiya. Phir hum kab yahan sogaye pata hi nahin chala. I was going to get up and put him in his cot..'

'Aray! It's okay. Mein bhi aa ke sogayi tum dono ke saath. Woh, cot mein sota hai na, to pata nahin chalta ke kitna hilta hai..sorry tumhe lag gayi..'

Sonakshi leaned over to kiss him, and Rohit's eyes flared. Just as their lips were about to meet, a tiny face buried itself between them.

'Mama! Baba!'

They both looked at Arihaan, who looked as he had just become a part of a game,  then at each other, and burst out laughing.

'Good morning, mera monkey!'
Rohit tickled him, and he began to giggle.

Sonakshi looked at her happy babies, and sent a silent prayer heavenwards.
Soon, the room was filled with his giggles, and their laughter.
