'Rohit!!'

Sonakshi and Naren ran towards him, to pick him up, while Veena hovered behind them.

'Kya hogaya isse?'
Veena began panicking.

Sonakshi was on the floor now, patting his cheek.

'Rohit! Papa, paani!'

Naren came back quickly with a glass, and Sonakshi quickly sprinkled water over Rohit's face.

Rohit came to, and Sonakshi lifted his head.

'What happened? Why am I on the floor?'

'Tum behosh hogaye thay, Rohit! Kya hua hai?'
Veena was worrying over him.

'Mom! I'm fine..'

'Yes! We all can see how fine you are!'
Sonakshi gave him a glare, and Rohit pursed his lips.

Uh-oh!

Naren lifted Rohit off the floor, and brought him to the sofa.
Sonakshi always kept a BP apparatus handy, and she quickly brought it to check his.

As her hand touched his arm, she gasped. Because he was  burning up.

'Rohit! What the..'

'Kya hua, Sona?'
Veena asked her.

'Itna tez bukhar! Kab se ho raha hai yeh? Mujhe bataya kyun nahin? Dawayi li koi? Or karo itna kaam. Aise kon karta hai?'

'Saans le lo, Sona! It's not that big an issue!'

'Not big an issue?'
Sonakshi shouted.

Rohit covered his ears.

'Ouch! That hurts..my head!'

Sonakshi took his hand from his ear and put it on his head.

'Head yahan hota hai!'

'Sona! Woh mein..'

Sonakshi stopped looking at him, and continued with checking his blood pressure, which was low.

'Kab se kuch nahin khaya?'

Rohit looked at her expectantly, but she had put on her doctor mode, and didn't show any sympathy.

'Woh subah breakfast kiya..'

Sonakshi's hand jerked, other than that, she showed no reaction. She continued putting away her apparatus, while Veena fussed over him.
She quickly rushed into the kitchen, and soon came back with food in a plate.

Sonakshi moved away from Rohit, as Veena forced him to take a bite.

'Mom! Bilkul dil nahin kar raha..Sona batao na Mom ko..'

'Woh kya batayegi? Itni samajh mujh mein bhi hai, Rohit! Chalo khao..medicine bhi to leni hogi..'
She force fed him another bite, while Sonakshi looked on.

He gave her a pleading look, but she moved away completely to go in the kitchen.

Aaj to gaye, Rohit!

Sonakshi came back with a glass of water and a box of medicines.
Only when Veena thought she had fed him enough to last, did she leave him.
Naren had already turned in, relaxed, now that two people were already mothering Rohit.

'Mom! Aap bhi jayen, rest karen. Sona hai na yahan.'

Sonakshi gave him a look, but agreed with him.

'Ji, Mom! I'll take him upstairs..'

'Pehle medicines de do, phir chali jaungi, pakka..'

Rohit swallowed the pills, and Veena left.
Rohit looked at Sonakshi, but she just helped, by lending him a hand.
