Rohit kissed her.

Sonakshi was stunned, for a better word.

For a minute, she froze with his onslaught, but it was a kiss in anger, and she came to.

She pushed him away angrily, staring at him.

He stood there, breathing heavily.

Putting a hand on her lips, Sonakshi suddenly turned and ran to the bathroom,  shutting the door with a bang.

Rohit started. He ran a hand through his hair in frustration.

Good God! What have I done!

Sonakshi shut the door and slid to the floor. Clutching her stomach, she began to cry.

God Rohit! Why?

Flashback  7 years ago

'Sona! Yar, tu har waqt parhai mein lagi rehti hai! Aaj Sana ka birthday hai, sab chal rahe hain party mein. Tu bhi chal na!' Aarya, Sonakshi's friend complained.

'Arya, you know na ke parson mera grand presentation hai seniors ke saamne. I need to prepare for that.' Sonakshi was busy making some notes.

'Chal na Sona! Or Shaan bhi to jaane ko bol raha tha.'

Sonakshi's ears perked up at his name.

'Shaan? Us ne to nahin bataya.'

Sonakshi and Shaan weren't exactly dating, but whenever they went out with friends or in groups, they tended to pair up together.

Shaan was very attentive towards Sonakshi, and others noticed it. Sonakshi received a lot of teasing as well. But she liked him.

Sonakshi's phone rang. It was Shaan.

'Sonakshi! Hi! Aaj party mein chal rahi ho na?'

She gave him the same excuse she had given Arya.

'Yar ek raat ki baat hai..kya tum aaj..' he hesitated.

'Kya?'

'Aaj kya tum meri date ban ke chalo gi?'

Sonakshi was a bit surprised at his request. He had never worded out that he liked her more than a friend. He knew she was a bit reserved, and hardly gave everybody her time.

'Date?' her voice was a little skeptical.

'No pressure..only if you feel comfortable..'

She couldn't refuse after he said it like that. She agreed.

After that party, they became a couple.

They did stuff together, worked at the hospital together, went on drives together.

He told her he liked her shyness, her simplicity. How she was different from the other girls.

All this enamoured Sonakshi towards him.

They had been together for almost 6 months, when one night, he asked her out for dinner.
Sonakshi lived at the hostel near the hospital. He came to pick her up in his car.

Sonakshi had dressed up tonight and she looked beautiful in an off the shoulder maroon dress, with a flared skirt.

He whistled as she came out.
