Sonakshi was astonished.

Rohit hugged the beautiful girl. And he stood there laughing.

Sonakshi felt a tightening sensation in her throat.

What does he think he's doing? In public, no less! He's married for God's sake!

As soon as the thought entered her mind, she shook it away.

What am I thinking?

Before she could react properly, Pari was calling out to him.

'Jiju! Jiju! Here! Hello!'

Rohit turned at the voice and began looking here and there.
Pari stood up and began waving.

'Kya kar rahi ho Pari?' Sonakshi spoke between her teeth.
'Sab dekh rahe hain!'

'Or ab Jiju ne bhi dekh liya!' she waved excitedly as Rohit saw her.

At first, he didn't see Sonakshi, because Pari was standing in front of her. But as he excused whoever he had been with and walked over, he was stupefied to see Sonakshi.

She had her head down, a hand on her forehead as if she was trying to hide.

'Pari! Sonakshi! Tum log yahan?' he was now at their table.

Sonakshi looked up and behaved as if she hadn't seen anything.

'Rohit! Tum yahan?' she sounded surprised. Pari gave her a look.

'Han! Woh mein kuch friends ke saath aya tha..tum yahan kaise? Aaj hospital waalon ne khud nikaal diya kya?'

Sonakshi gave a fake smile.

'Very funny!' she said.

Pari laughed.

'Jiju, you are so funny!'

'And how are you, gorgeous? You look so pretty today!'

For a second, Sonakshi thought he was talking to her. She looked up, but his eyes were on Pari.

Pari blushed. Sonakshi flushed.

'Aap kitne hi cute ho ya!'

Rohit smiled and sat down, facing Sonakshi.

'Jiju! Waise aap apni wife ke ilava kis ko hug kar rahe thay?'

Rohit looked at Sonakshi. She was ominously quiet and not looking his way.

Had she also seen him hugging Ariana?

'Woh meri ek friend ka birthday hai..to usse..'

'Hmm..pretty pretty friends..what's her name? Koi actress hai?'

Pari was ever the chatterbox, curious to know it all.

'No! No! Ariana is not an actress, she's a college friend!'

Rohit kept glancing at Sonakshi. She was trying to look nonchalant for sure.

'That's great Rohit..but Pari..ab hum chalen? Ma ka message bhi agaya hai ke hum kab tak pohonch rahe hain..so..'

'Han, han Di! Chalte hain..'

Sonakshi got up and so did Pari.

'See you Rohit!'

Sonakshi told him and began to move.

Pari turned back again to Rohit.

'By the way Jiju! Maine Di ko kuch diya hai aap dono ke liye..'

Rohit was surprised.

'Oh really? How sweet! Thankyou!'

'Thankyou baad mein jab aap dono mujhe pic bhejenge us ke saath..'
