It was now April 11th, and Toby was downstairs in the kitchen making breakfast, while Marion watched him curiously from her highchair.

"You ready to help Daddy with making Mommy's Birthday special?" Toby asked Marion who nodded happily. "Yeah!" She said excitedly. "That's what I thought you'd say." Toby said as he smiled softly at her before turning his attention back to the stove where he was in the process of making chocolate chip pancakes, and Maggie was laying on the floor, watching him intently and waiting for him to drop some pancake mix on the floor.

"I just hope that Mommy doesn't wake up before we get back upstairs." Toby said as he waited for the pancakes to be able to flip over, and within a couple of seconds, the pancakes were done, he put his on his plate then set it down on the island, and then he put Marion's on hers then he cut it into pieces for her. "Alright baby girl, let's eat some breakfast." Toby said, smiling softly at Marion as he sat down next to her highchair and he set her plate down on her highchair.

"When we're finished, I'm going to make Mommy's special Birthday pancakes, then we'll go upstairs to get Mommy." Toby said and Marion nodded as she happily ate one of the pancake pieces.

After they both finished their breakfast and he made Spencer's, Toby carried Marion upstairs to his and Spencer's bedroom, Maggie following behind them of course.

Once they went inside the bedroom, Toby smiled softly as he looked at Spencer who was still peacefully sleeping. "Okay princess, you want to go see Mommy?" Toby whispered to Marion who nodded. "Yeah." She whispered to him and Toby smiled softly at her before kissing her forehead, then he walked over to Spencer's side of the bed and then he gently laid Marion on top of Spencer, and a few seconds later Spencer was starting to wake up.

"Hi baby girl," Spencer said as she gently sat up with Marion in her lap before rubbing the rest of the sleep out of her eyes. "I'm assuming that your daddy brought you in here, unless you somehow managed to get out of your crib by yourself." Spencer said as she smiled at Toby. "Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she somehow figured it out, but I'm glad that she hasn't." He said and Spencer nodded. "Yeah, me too." She said as she looked at Marion. "How'd you sleep?" Toby asked her. "Pretty great, until you left the bed." Spencer said, making him laugh again. "Sorry about that, but I wanted to make sure that I finished your breakfast before you woke up." He said. "You know that you're amazing." Spencer said. "So you've mentioned." Toby said and Spencer smiled softly at him.

"Okay, now to the main thing I wanted to tell you, Happy Birthday baby girl." He said before kissing her forehead gently. "Thanks babe." Spencer said as she smiled at him. "You're welcome Spence. So, how's it feel to be 28 so far?" Toby asked her. "Well, considering that I woke up to my amazing husband and adorable daughter, I would say that it's pretty darn good so far." Spencer said. "I'm glad to hear that. So, Marion and I had a little Daddy and Daughter breakfast time, and I was going to bring your special Birthday breakfast up here so that you could eat it in bed." Toby said. "Again, you're amazing." Spencer said. "That would be you." Toby said, smiling softly at her before leaning in to kiss her and she smiled into the kiss and kissed him back, and then they rested their foreheads against each other.

"I'll be right back." Toby said before heading back downstairs, he returned a few minutes later with her plate of breakfast that he'd cooked for her. "We'll do a trade off. You give me our daughter, I will give you your breakfast." He said and Spencer nodded. "That sounds fair." She said, laughing softly as she handed Marion over to him and he handed her the plate. "My favorite." She said smiling at him, of course he had made chocolate chip pancakes.

"Now I decided to add a little something special this time, since it's your birthday." Toby said and Spencer looked back down at the pancakes and smiled, he had added some sprinkles mixed with the chocolate chips.
"You didn't have to do this." Spencer said as she smiled softly at him. "I know, but I wanted to. You deserve the best for your Birthday." Toby said as he smiled back at her before walking around to his side of the bed and sitting next to Spencer with Marion who was still happily in his arms. "You know that I already have the best though, with you." Spencer said, smiling softly at him before taking a bite of her pancakes. "How do they taste?" Toby asked her. "Perfect, as always." Spencer said happily as she smiled at him and he smiled back at her. "I'm glad." He said.
