The next morning

At Spoby's House

“You know I really miss coffee.” Spencer said sighing as she put a piece of pancake that Toby had just cooked for her in her mouth. “I know you do babe but you know it's not good for the baby.” Toby said and Spencer nodded. “Yeah I know, and I know it'll be totally worth it once we're holding our baby but I just don't know how the heck I'm supposed to survive another seven months without coffee.” Spencer said sighing and Toby put his hand on her leg comfortingly.

(By the way Spencer's almost two months along.)

“I know baby, but Kim said that you can still have very small amounts of decaf.” Toby said giving her a small smile and she gave him a small smile back because she knew he was just trying to to make her feel better.
“I know, but decaf is just not the same, at all.” She said sighing before taking a sip of her tea. “I wish that I could just stay here with you all day.” Toby said frowning and Spencer gently touched his shoulder.
“I know and so do I, but I'm meeting up with Serena at Kelly's and then I have to meet with my Mom to go over a case and you are supposed to be meeting my Dad at the Gym.” Spencer said. "Yeah I know, and not that I don't want to do that but how about you can cancel your plans with Serena and I'm sure your Mom would cover for you with work and I can stay home with my beautiful wife.” Toby said before leaning over and kissing her cheek. “Tobes.” Spencer said giving him a look and he raised his hands in defeat. “Okay okay, but you're all mine tonight right?” He asked and she nodded. “Of course, just try not to miss me too much.” She said smiling at him.
“Too late, I miss you already and you're still sitting here.” Toby said making Spencer laugh. “Well you get to have some quality time with Maggie before you have to leave.” Spencer said glancing over at Maggie who was laying on the kitchen floor playing with one of her toys. “Well that's true, we do have a pretty cute puppy don't we?” Toby said smiling and Spencer nodded. “Yeah you did a good job.” She smiled at him making him blush a little. “Okay I really should get going,” Spencer said sighing as she got up from the kitchen stool and Toby reached out and pulled her back over to him making her laugh. “Do you really have to go right now?” Toby begged. “Yes I do, but I promise you that I will be counting down the seconds until we're back together later.” Spencer said and Toby gave her a small smile. “Thank you for breakfast, husband.” She said before kissing his cheek. “Yup never going to get tired of how good that sounds.” Toby said and Spencer laughed. “And you're welcome, you know I would do anything for you, and our little one.” Toby said as he moved his hands from his waist to her stomach and she smiled at him. “We know, and we love you for it, but now I really need to get going.” Spencer said before sliding off of his lap and Toby reluctantly let her and his hands fell back to his sides and then he noticed that Spencer was putting the dishes in the sink and he got up from his stool and walked over and put his arms around her waist from behind and kissed her neck gently. “Babe I can get the dishes, go ahead and see Serena I'm sure she's waiting for you.” Toby said and Spencer turned around to face him. “You sure?” She asked and he nodded. “Absolutely.” He said smiling at her. “I love you, you know that right?” Spencer asked. “Yeah I kinda figured that out.” Toby said making Spencer smile. “Well I do, so much.” She said. “I love you too.” He said before passionately kissing her. “You too little baby.” He said before kissing her stomach making Spencer smile and get a little teary eyed, stupid hormones.

“Try not to miss us too much.” Spencer said and Toby shook his head. “Too late.” He said before kissing her again. “Okay now I really have to leave.” She said laughing and she walked over and said goodbye to Maggie who barked in response making Toby laugh and then Spencer turned her attention back to him and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her one more time before leading her to the door and once she was gone he went back into the kitchen to do the dishes.
