Chapter Nineteen

The Next Day

At GH

In Spencer's hospital room

Today's the day Spencer finally gets released from GH and she was very excited to get out of there and it made Toby love her even more if that was possible, he was also very happy she was finally being released and then they could get away from this town for awhile and hopefully sooner rather than later Jerry won't be a problem anymore, but he seriously wants to punch the crap out of him for hurting his Spencer, and he definitely intends to, he would do anything for her.

“You ready to get out of here babe?” Toby asked Spencer as he played with her hair.
“More than ready.” Spencer smiled at him and he kissed her passionately and a few minutes later Griffin and Kiki came into the room. “I know a certain someone who is excited to be going home today.” Griffin said
Smiling and Spencer nodded. “Oh you don't even know the half of it.” She said laughing a little and Toby smiled at his amazing fiancé. “Well you'll be able to leave once Toby signs all the paperwork.” Kiki said smiling. “You going to be okay in here?” Toby asked stroking her cheek and Spencer nodded and he kissed her passionately. “I'll stay in here with her Toby.” Kiki said. “Thanks Kiki.” Toby said and Kiki nodded. “No problem.” she said smiling. “Okay I'll be back soon babe.” Toby said and Spencer nodded and he kissed her again before getting off the bed and following Griffin out the door to go sign the paperwork so Spencer can go home.

“So are you excited about Hawaii?” Kiki asked as she sat in the chair next to Spencer's bed. “Yeah, not too thrilled about the circumstances though.” Spencer said looking down. “I know but once he's found you can come home.” Kiki said and Spencer nodded. “I know, and I'm looking forward to this alone time with Toby, even if we can't really do too much because of this.” Spencer said motioning to her sling. “I know but you have him to take care of you and you need to just forget about everything going on right now and focus on getting better and back to one hundred percent.” Kiki said giving her a small smile. “I know and I'm trying, it's easier when Toby's here with me, I'm very lucky he's been here with me the whole time since I got shot.” Spencer said blushing a little. “Yeah it's pretty romantic, you two are perfect for each other Spence.” Kiki said. “Well thank you, so are you and Griffin.” Spencer said and Kiki blushed a little.

A few minutes later Griffin and Toby came back into the room and Spencer smiled and Toby as he walked over to her bedside and kissed her passionately. “Okay Spencer you are officially free to go home.” Griffin said and Spencer smiled. “Finally.” She said and everyone laughed. “We'll let Toby help you with getting ready and we'll get out of your hair.” Kiki said and then she and Griffin walked out of the room leaving Spencer and Toby alone again. “Okay babe, you ready to do this?” He asked and she nodded starting to get out of the bed and Toby immediately helped her and once she was standing firmly on the floor Toby walked over to Spencer's bag to get her clothes out and he walked back over to her. “You sure you're ready?” He asked and she nodded “Of course, go ahead you know I trust you Tobes.” Spencer said and Toby nodded and then he slowly took her sling off and then he slowly and gently took off her shirt and he tried not to cry once he saw her shoulder that was all bandaged up with gauze and he slowly ran his hand over it and Spencer also tried not to cry. “Hey I'm alright, it's just still a little sore that's all, I'm okay Tobes.” She said trying to comfort him and he looked up at her and she said “You're stuck with me
Tobes you know that.” And he nodded.
“I love you.” He said smiling at her and she smiled back. “I love you too Tobes.” And then he continued to help her get dressed and once she was dressed they left the hospital and went outside to Toby's truck and he drove her back to the penthouse.

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

Jason and Sam were sitting on the couch in the living room waiting for Toby and Spencer to get home and a little while later the door opened and Toby walked into the penthouse carrying Spencer.
