The Next Day

At Spoby's House

Toby was lying in bed looking at his beautiful wife who was sleeping with her head on his chest and he was letting her get as much sleep as possible because it was an important day, February 23rd, the day of Spencer's Baby Shower.

Toby just laid there admiring his wife and he started playing with her hair gently with his one hand while his other was wrapped protectively around her waist and was resting on top of Spencer's hand on her baby bump. After another thirty minutes Spencer finally started to wake up and she looked up to see Toby smiling at her. “Good morning gorgeous.” Toby said before softly kissing her forehead and she smiled. “Good morning handsome.” Spencer said happily before kissing his cheek. “How're you feeling? Did you sleep well?” Toby asked.

“I'm feeling okay right now, and yeah I slept pretty good, once our daughter finally calmed down and stopped kicking the crap out of me.” Spencer said and Toby smiled softly as he ran his hand through her hair. “Are you ready for this afternoon?” He asked and she nodded.

“Yeah, I'm just really happy that you're going to be there.” Spencer said. “Of course, you know that I would do anything for you and our daughter Spence.” Toby said smiling at her.

“Yeah I know, and that's one of the many reasons why I love you Tobias.” Spencer said smiling back at him. “And I love you even more.” Toby said. “I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that in a matter of weeks our daughter will be here in our arms.” Spencer said. “Yeah I know, but I couldn't be more excited if I tried.” Toby said smiling. “Me either, you are already an incredible Father Tobes, I mean she loves your voice and most of the time you're the only one who can get her to stop kicking me so hard.” Spencer said and they both laughed. “Yeah she does love me doesn't she?” Toby said and Spencer smiled.

“Yes she does, and so do I.” She said before kissing him passionately. “I'll never get tired of that.” Toby said. “Me either.” Spencer said.

“Are you hungry baby girl?” Toby asked and she nodded. “Yeah I am.” Spencer said. “And what would you and our daughter like to have for breakfast?” Toby asked curiously. “Well right now I really have a craving for some chocolate chip waffles.” Spencer said. “Then chocolate chip waffles it is.” Toby said smiling at her.

“Thank you.” Spencer said. “How many times do I have to tell you that you don't need to thank me, it's my job to take care of you and our daughter.” Toby said. “But still, thank you.” Spencer said. “You're welcome, now you stay here and I'll go make breakfast and bring it back upstairs.” Toby said and she nodded.

“Hurry back.” Spencer said and Toby nodded before kissing her lips softly. “I love you.” He said. “I love you too.” Spencer said and then he kissed her baby bump resulting in a small kick from Marion and Spencer smiled softly. “Daddy loves you too baby girl.” Toby said and Spencer was trying not to get all emotional again. “We love you.” Spencer said and Toby kissed her forehead. “I love you more.” He said smiling at her before getting off the bed and going downstairs to make breakfast and Maggie barked happily and followed behind him and Spencer laughed before looking down at her stomach as she rubbed her baby bump gently and began to talk to her daughter. “You know I think that you're going to be really happy here with me and your Daddy, and we can't wait to meet you baby girl.” Spencer said smiling to herself as Marion kicked softly inside her.

At The Metro Court

“Okay so everything is all set up right?” Hanna asked. “Yes Hanna everything is ready.” Nelle said. “I think we did a great job.” Maxie said smiling. “I think so too, I think Spencer is going to love all of this.” Carly said. “Well it's all thanks to you for letting us have the Baby Shower here at The Metro Court.” Hanna said. “Of course, it's my pleasure, anything for Spencer.” Carly said smiling. “I just hope she likes everything.” Hanna said as she looked around the room at all the decorations, the baby rattle balloons placed around the room, the banner, the table with candy, cookies, cupcakes, cake pops, water bottles and other little party favors.
