Chapter Eighty Nine

February 22nd

THE DAY BEFORE SPENCER'S BABY SHOWER

A Couple Days Later

At Spoby's House

Spencer was on her laptop and Maggie was curled up in a ball on the couch next to her and then Toby walked downstairs and he went over to her and kissed her forehead and she smiled and looked up at him.

“You know I really missed my wife while I was in the shower.” Toby said smirking at her.  “I know I know, and you know I would've loved to join you but I need to get these last few details for the Baby Shower finished so I can send this email to Hanna.” Spencer said. “Yeah I know, I can't believe that it's already tomorrow.” Toby said. “Yeah me either, these months have just flown by.” Spencer said smiling softly. “Yeah they have, now I know you have to finish that but do you have a minute to kiss your husband before he leaves for work?” Toby asked and Spencer nodded. “Yeah I think I can squeeze you in.” She said smiling at him and he smiled back before Spencer kissed him passionately and he kissed her back and they kissed for a few minutes before they had to break apart for air and he smiled at her. “You going to be okay here?” He asked and she nodded. “Yeah I'll be fine.” She said smiling softly at him and he nodded. “Okay, I'm just a phone call away if you need.” He said. “I know.” Spencer said smiling before kissing his cheek. “Now go build something great Mr. Sexy Carpenter.” Spencer said smiling at him and he laughed before kissing her lips softly and then he kissed her baby bump and she smiled at him. “We love you.” She said. “I love you so much more.” Toby said before kissing her forehead and then he petted Maggie who then happily licked his face and Spencer laughed and then Toby kissed her one more time before leaving the house and Spencer smiled to herself before going back to her laptop.

At GH

“Hey you.” Griffin said as he walked up behind Kiki at the nurses station and wrapped his arms around her waist protectively and she turned to look at him and smiled.

“Hey yourself handsome, I thought that you were busy in surgery?” Kiki said. “Oh I was, but I got done a little earlier than expected and I wanted to check on my beautiful girlfriend.” Griffin said as he stroked her cheek gently and she smiled widely at him.
“Well that's good because I'm about two minutes I am officially on my break.” Kiki said. “Well would you look at that good timing.” Griffin said smiling at her.

“Very good timing.” Kiki said smiling. “I love you.” Griffin said before kissing her softly and Kiki smiled into the kiss and happily kissed him back. “I love you too.” She said before kissing him again and Griffin kissed her back.

At The Metro Court

“Hey Em.” Nelle said as she walked over to the bar and Emily smiled softly at her. “Hey Nelle, what's up?” She asked curiously. “Nothing much just taking a short break and I thought I'd see how you were doing.” Nelle said. “I'm doing good, hey is my Mom here?” Emily asked and Nelle shook her head. “No I think she's still at home but there was a list of things that she wanted me to take care of before she gets here.” Nelle said and Emily nodded. “Oh okay.” She said. “So how is Josslyn doing?” I'm guessing she's with Oscar?” Nelle asked and Emily nodded. “Yeah I think they're at the library studying.” She said. “That's good.” Nelle said. “Yeah it is, I'm just glad that they get to enjoy being teenagers without having to worry about when their last moments going to be.” Emily said. “Yeah I agree, I'm glad that Oscar got his miracle.” Nelle said. “Yeah we all are.* Emily said. “Have you heard from Spencer?” Nelle asked curiously. “No but I know she's busy with the Baby Shower bring tomorrow.” Emily said. “Yeah that's actually to do with a few of the things I have to take care of for your Mom.” Nelle said. “Let me guess, last minute details from Hanna and Maxie?” Emily asked. “Well mostly Hanna but yes.” Nelle said. “That doesn't surprise me at all.” Emily said. “Me either, you'll be here tomorrow right?” Nelle asked and Emily nodded. “Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world.” Emily said smiling softly. “Good, you know by it'll be nice to celebrate something.” Nelle said. “I agree, and I know Spencer and Toby feel the same way.” Emily said. “Yeah they need this.” Nelle sais. “Definitely, and what better thing to celebrate than the upcoming arrival of their baby girl.” Emily said smiling and Nelle smiled back.
