The Next Day

At Spoby's House

In Their Bedroom

Spencer and Toby were lying in bed, their arms wrapped around each other and Toby was stroking Spencer's hair gently. They have been awake for a little while now, but neither of them have been ready to get up to start the day yet.

"Okay, I know that we will eventually have to get up. Especially because we have to go pick up Marion and Maggie, but I seriously don't want to leave this bed. But I also know that that's not realistic and it's ridiculous because we do have to get up at some point." Spencer said. "It's not ridiculous at all. I feel the same way." Toby said before he kissed the top of her head gently. "Well, I'm glad to hear you say that. I mean, maybe we could just stay here all day, and let my parents have Marion and Maggie another night. I don't think they'd mind. Then we could focus on having a little extra just us time, and we'd get to stay in this bed a little longer. What do you say?" Spencer said as she reluctantly pulled her head up from his chest so she could look up at him

"I mean, I'd be lying if I said that didn't sound amazing, because it absolutely does. But we will have to get up soon." Toby said as he continued to run his fingers through his wife's hair.

"Yeah, I know. But can't we just delay that for a little while longer...?" Spencer said as she started to beg him with her puppy eyes. "It is very tempting. But... okay, Spence you know that you can't look at me like that." Toby said as he tried to look away from her, but he couldn't help it, his eyes can't help but look at her. "Yes, I do. That's why I'm doing it." Spencer said, they both laughed softly. "So, I can see you're not gonna give up on this." Toby said. "Nope." Spencer said as she smirked softly at him.

"Alright, alright. You've made your point. And, I don't disagree with you. Okay, we can lay here for at least another half hour." Toby said and Spencer smiled widely. "Thank you." She said before kissing him passionately, he smiled into the kiss and kissed her back and they wrapped their arms around each other as they continued to kiss.

After they reluctantly took a break from their little make out session because they needed air, Spencer rested her head back on Toby's chest and he smiled softly as he watched her, he then resumed running his fingers through her hair and they just continued to stay like that, just savoring the rest of their alone time before they eventually need to get up to continue the day.

At Jason and Sam's Penthouse

Jason, Sam, Danny, Emily Scout were sitting at the table. Phoenix and Marion were in their high chairs.

"I would say that this is a pretty perfect morning." Sam said happily. "I couldn't agree more." Jason said as he smiled softly at his wife. "We're just missing two people." Sam said. "Yes we are. But you know that Spence and Toby will probably be here soon to pick up Marion and Maggie." Jason said. "I know. Well we're also missing Brooklyn, but she's busy working on some new songs." Sam said and Jason nodded. "Yeah, but I'm sure we'll see her later." He said and Sam nodded.

"I'm excited to see Spence and Toby, but I also don't want Maggie to leave." Danny said as he glanced over to where Maggie was lying on the floor, watching them happily. "Oh we know. But you know you'll see her again soon." Sam said.

"I know, but still." Danny said. "Yes you'll definitely see her, and Marion again. I'm sure you'll be going to have a sleepover at Spencer and Toby's soon." Jason said. "Exactly, we still have to set up a date with Spence and Toby for that." Sam said.

"Yes, you do. I'm really excited for it." Danny said. "We know, and it'll be soon, promise. But for right now, why don't you just focus on continuing to enjoy having Marion and Maggie here right now." Sam said as she smiled softly at her son before turning her attention over to her granddaughter and they smiled at each other, and Jason couldn't help but smile softly as he watched them.
