Chapter Fifty Seven

The next morning

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

In Spoby's bedroom

Toby had been awake for a while now just keeping his eyes focused on his beautiful wife who as still sleeping on his chest.

Spencer had squeezed Toby's hand numerous times throughout the night because she was afraid that he was going to disappear again which he totally understood and he kept whispering soothing things in her ear trying to reassure that he was home and that he wasn't going anywhere, he was still in a little bit of shock himself that he was finally home where he belongs, with Spencer.

A few minutes later Spencer started to stir and then she slowly opened her eyes and she looked up at him with a huge smile on her face and Toby gently kissed her forehead. “Morning baby girl.” He said and Spencer smiled and then breathed a sigh of relief. “Last night wasn't a dream, you're really here.” Spencer said smiling up at him and he nodded. “I'm really here Spence.” He said before kissing her lips softly. “Mmm, I've missed this.” She said smiling at him.
“Me too.” Toby said as he stroked her hair. “How'd you sleep last night?” He asked gently. “It was the best I slept in a long time, it was nice to feel safe in your arms again.”
She said smiling up at him. “It was the best I've slept too, and you have no idea how relieving it was when I woke up and saw you sleeping on my chest because it meant that it was real that I was actually back home with the love of my life. Toby said and Spencer kissed his cheek gently. “Yes, yes you are and I'm never going to let you go again and I promise you that I will make Valentin pay for what he did to you, to us.”
Spencer said with determination in her voice. “I know you will, but you don't need to worry about him right now, we have much more important things to talk about.” He said before kissing the top of her head and she gave him a small smile and nodded.
“You're right, but let's just focus on making up for lost time.” Spencer said before smashing her lips into his and he kissed her back and wrapped his arms around her.

At Sonny and Carly's house

“Well you don't know how happy I am to hear that Toby is home safe and sound, we all are.” Sonny said to Jason who was on the other end of the phone. “And how is Spencer doing now that she has her husband back?” Sonny asked curiously. “I'm glad to hear that, and don't worry Jason we will find Ruby and make sure she can't do any more damage.” Sonny said. “Yeah sure, we'll talk soon.” Sonny said before hanging up the phone. “So it's true? Toby's home?” Emily asked and Sonny nodded. “That is definitely the good news we needed to hear.” Carly said smiling. “Is he okay?” Josslyn asked with concern and Sonny nodded. “He’s going to be okay, he's been through a lot these past six weeks that we don't know about but I have no doubt that he'll get through this, especially now that he's back home with Spencer.” Sonny said and Josslyn nodded. “And how is Spencer?” Emily asked.
“I definitely think she's going to be okay now that Toby's home.” Sonny said and Emily gave him a small smile. “I'm just really happy he's home and he's safe, I want to see him but I think it's more important to give him some time with Spence.” Emily said. “Yeah I think that's probably a good idea Em.” Carly said. “Well I'm just glad that he's home and he's safe and now everything can go back to normal.” Josslyn said. “Yeah
I'm glad Toby is home safe too, and you're right Joss now things can get back to
normal.” Sonny said and then he wrapped his arm around Carly and kissed her gently.

Back with Spoby

“Should I go make breakfast?” Toby asked sweetly and Spencer looked up at him and rapidly shook her head. “Oh no you don't you're not leaving this bed without me at your hip.” Spencer said hugging him even tighter if that was possible. “I expected this answer.” Toby said smiling at how she worries about him, but he's safe now and everything is going to be okay. “You know I never want to let you out of my sight again.” Spencer said as she put her head back on his chest. “I know baby.” Toby said before kissing the top of her head. “Seriously though I'm never going to let you go again,
I would sew my skin to yours if I could.” Spencer said and Toby laughed. “That's really gross.” He said as he played with her hair. “That may be true but then I would never have to be separated from you ever again.” Spencer said as she hugged him tighter. “I completely understand that, I don't ever want to be away from you or our child either.” Toby said before kissing her head again. “Can we please just stay in this bed all day? Because eventually we're going to have to go out in public again and I know that everyone is going to want to see you but right now I want to be selfish and keep you to myself.” Spencer said and Toby nodded. “I don't think that's selfish at all, I was taken from you for six weeks of course you just want to be alone with me and that's all I want right now too.” Toby said and Spencer smiled up at him and then she kissed him passionately on the lips.
