Chapter Ninety Eight

A Couple Days Later

At Lulu and Dante's House

“You sure you're okay?” Chase asked Ali as they stood outside the door to her parents house, she nodded. “Yeah I'm okay, I promise.” She said. “Okay if you're sure, let's just get you inside.” Chase said. “Yeah.” Ali said as she unlocked the door and she held onto Chase's hand as they walked through the door to see Lulu and Dante in the living room and they smiled softly at them.

“Welcome home sweetie.” Lulu said as Chase helped her over to the couch and then he sat down next to her. “It's good to be home.” Ali said smiling softly. “I appreciate you letting me bring her home.” Chase said. “It's not a problem, we figured that would be better for Ali to ride here with you.” Dante said. “I appreciate that.” Ali said. “Are you hungry or anything?” Lulu asked and Ali shook her head. “I'm okay Mom, thank you for the offer though.” She said and Lulu nodded. “So where's Charlotte and Rocco?” Chase asked. “They're in their rooms.” Dante said and Chase nodded.

“Dad, have you heard anything about Stavros?” Ali asked hesitantly and Dante shook his head. “As far as I know he's still in lock up.” He said. “Don't worry about him, we won't let him get anywhere near you again.” Lulu said. “Your Mom's right, we won't let anything happen to you.” Chase said and Ali smiled at her boyfriend softly. “I would say I pretty lucky that my boyfriend is a top notch detective.” She said as she stroked his cheek with her hand. “I'll take that compliment, thank you.” Chase said before kissing her forehead.

At Jason and Sam's Penthouse

“That's good that she's finally home where she belongs, let me know if you need anything.” Jason said into the phone. “Yeah of course. Alright bye Sonny.” Jason said before hanging up the phone and walking over to the couch where Sam was sitting. “How’s Ali?” Sam asked. “She's out of the hospital and back home where she belongs.” Jason said. “That's good news.” Sam said smiling softly. “Yeah and we definitely needed some more of that.” Jason said. “Yes we do…. Speaking of news… Have you heard anything from Spinelli? Has he found anything that we can use against Shiloh?” Sam asked curiously and Jason shook his head. “Unfortunately no not yet, apparently Shiloh has done a good job but of hiding anything incriminating about his life on the internet but Spinelli isn't going to stop looking.” Jason said and Sam nodded as she put her hand on her still flat stomach and Jason grabbed her other hand gently. “I want you to listen to me, there's nothing to worry about because I am going to do whatever I have to do to keep you and our kids safe.” He said. “I know, and I love you for that.” Sam said and Jason kissed her forehead. “I love you so much more Sam.” Jason said and Sam smiled softly at him. “I don't think that's possible.” She said. “Yes, yes it is.” Jason said before gently wrapping his arms around me her and kissing her passionately and Sam smiled into the kiss and kissed him back.

At Spoby's House

“I just got a text from Chase, he said that Ali is getting some rest right now but we should be able to go over there in a little bit if you still wanted to go see her.” Toby said as he walked over to Spencer who was sitting on the couch in the living room looking at something on her laptop, she didn't answer him. “Spence?” Toby asked as he sat down next to her and it was like she snapped out of whatever she was so Interested in on her laptop and and she shut it quickly before looking at him. “Yeah?” She said curiously and Toby grew a little concerned. “Did you not hear what I just said? About Ali?” Toby asked and she nodded. “Yes I heard you, yeah I do still want to go see her.” Spencer said and Toby nodded. “Are you okay?” He asked.

“Why wouldn't I be?” Spencer said.
“It just seems that you were pretty wrapped up I'm whatever you were just looking at.” Toby said. “It was nothing.” Spencer said. “Spence.” Toby said and Spencer sighed. “Okay okay, I may have been looking up stuff online… about
possible complications during childbirth.” Spencer said nervously. “Spence you know it's never a good idea to look that stuff up.” Toby said. “I know I know, but I did and know I can't stop worrying about everything that could go wrong.” Spencer said before looking down and Toby grabbed her hand comfortingly. “Hey, Spence look at me.” Toby said sweetly and she looked up at him. “Everything is going to be fine.” Toby said trying to reassure her. “How can you be so sure?” Spencer asked and he squeezed both of her hands comfortingly. “Because I know you, Spence you are the strongest person I know and I am going to promise you right now that both you and Marion are going to be just fine, you trust me don't you?” Toby said. “Of course I do.” Spencer said. “Okay good, now repeat after me, nothing bad is going to happen.” Toby said and Spencer nodded. “Nothing bad is going to happen.” She said. “That's my girl, now come here.” Toby said as he gently wrapped his arm around her and she laid her head on his chest.
