Chapter One Hundred and Fifty Eight

At Spoby's House

Spencer was sitting on the couch running some background checks on her laptop and Marion was on her playmate playing with some of her toys with Maggie laying on the floor next to her, a few minutes later the door opened and Spencer looked up from her work and smiled at her husband who'd just walked in.

"Hey you." She said happily as he walked over to her. "Hi beautiful." Toby said smiling softly at her before kissing her forehead. "You're home from work early." Spencer said. "Yeah, we got done a lot earlier than I expected, and I was thrilled to get to come home to my girls." Toby said smiling at her. "Well we're very happy you're home too." Spencer said as she smiled back at him. "Good, I got you something on the way home." Toby said as he moved his right hand from behind his back and revealing
a to-go cup of coffee in his hand. "You stopped at Perks, just for me?" Spencer said as she smiled softly at him. "Of course I did, you know i'd do anything for you." Toby said as he handed her the cup. "Thank you." Spencer said smiling as she took a sip of the coffee. "You know that you don't have to thank me, but you're welcome." Toby said smiling softly at her.

"Dada!" Marion exclaimed happily as she noticed him. "It looks like someone finally noticed you were home." Spencer said and they both laughed softly. "Yup, come here princess." Toby said smiling softly and Marion stood up and happily ran into his arms and he picked her up and kissed her forehead and Spencer smiled softly as she watched them.
"Now this is perfect, me and my girls." Toby said smiling and Maggie barked happily and Spencer laughed. "Maggs is glad you're home too." She said and Toby smiled. "You know that I love all of you." He said and Spencer nodded. "Of course I do, and we all love you too." She said. "Good, I love you more though." Toby said and Spencer playfully rolled her eyes. "Yeah, we're not doing that right now." She said and he laughed softly. "Fair enough." He said.

"I really did miss you though." She said smiling softly at him and he smiled back at her.

"So, I was thinking that we could go to the fall carnival tonight, what do you think?" Toby said and Spencer smiled softly. "I think that would be great, just what we need, quality family time." She said and Marion nodded in agreement. "Yeah!" She said happily and Toby laughed. "Well it's settled then. Tonight, we'll have a nice little family outing." He said happily before leaning in to kiss her softly, Spencer smiled into the kiss and passionately kissed him back, Toby wrapped one arm around her and pulled her close to him while he still held Marion in his other arm, she watched her parents happily. "I love you so much." Spencer whispered to him after they broke apart for air and rested their foreheads against each other's. "I wanted to say that first." Toby said smiling softly at her before kissing her forehead gently, Spencer smiled softly at him before laying her head down on his shoulder.

That Evening

"You know you were absolutely right, this is just what we needed." Spencer said as she smiled at Toby as they walked through the fall carnival.

"Yes it is, I needed this time with my girls." Toby said smiling softly at her before looking down at Marion who was in the stroller he was pushing, she smiled up at him. "It's definitely been a great day so far, I mean you came home from work early, and now here we are, enjoying some family time." Spencer said happily before grabbing some more kettle corn put of the bag she was holding, Toby couldn't help but smile at her. "What?" She asked him curiously. "Nothing, just admiring my beautiful wife." Toby said as he smirked softly and Spencer smirked back at him.

"Well it's fancy seeing you here." Sam said smiling at them as she walked over with Jason, Danny, Emily Scout and Phoenix. "Hi Mom, Dad." Spencer said as she smiled at them.
