At The PCPD

"Come in." Anna said after she heard someone knock on her office door, then the door opened,It was Nathan.

"Commissioner, I need your help." Nathan said, the desperation obvious in his voice, Anna looked at him, concerned. "What's wrong?" She asked him curiously. "It's a little bit of a long story," Nathan said as he shut the door to her office, then he sat down in the chair opposite of her desk.

"Okay, now tell me what's going on so I can help you." Anna said. "It's Maxie.... She's been kidnapped." Nathan said, both his face and voice were obviously filled with worry and concern for his wife.

"Wait... what?! By whom?" Anna asked, now equally as concerned about the safety of her goddaughter. "That's where the bit of a long story part comes in." Nathan said. "Just start from the beginning." Anna said, Nathan nodded. "Okay... So, back over the summer, Maxie started receiving threatening emails from an anonymous person." Nathan said, Anna's eyes widened a little bit. "Oh my God. Wait, back over the summer...? How long have you known?" She asked. "Maxie told me a while back. She didn't want to keep it from me anymore, with the threats escalating." Nathan said. "Well, I'm glad that she confided in you. Why didn't you tell me back when you found out?" She asked him. "You know Maxie, she didn't want to worry you." Nathan said. "But I'm her godmother." Anna said. "Yes you are. But you're also the Police Commissioner, and she didn't want to bother you with this. She thought she could handle it, plus she hired Sam and Spencer to find the person." Nathan said. "Well, that doesn't surprise me at all. I'm assuming that they were able to find out who was sending the threats?" Anna said, Nathan nodded. "They were. Actually, they finally found him today, his identity anyway." He told her. "Okay, so who is this guy?" Anna asked. "His name is Declan Stoll. He's the son of Myles Stoll, someone that apparently Frisco was responsible for finally getting him put behind bars." Nathan said. "I remember exactly who Myles is. He was the mastermind behind a string of robberies across Switzerland. He certainly caused a lot of trouble, until Frisco was finally able to trap him, of course." Anna said.

"That was almost five years ago, right?" Nathan said. "Yes it was. I'm assuming that you also know that Myles is still in prison." Anna said. "Yeah, Maxie mentioned that when she called me and told me about Declan." Nathan said. "I see. So, that was the last time you heard from her?" Anna asked. "Yes." Nathan said. "When was that?" Anna asked. "About forty minutes ago. She told me that she was alone at the office, I'm assuming that she told Hanna to take the rest of the afternoon off. I begged her to let me come and pick her up, but she wouldn't let me. She told me that she would be home soon, after she called Frisco to inform him about the whole Declan situation. She was finally going to tell him about the threats." Nathan said. "She hadn't?" Anna asked. "No, because of course she didn't want to worry him, and she wasn't entirely sure that it was someone from his past, she assumed by the way the threats were written that it was someone specifically after her. Now we obviously know that Declan did all of this to lure Frisco out." Nathan said. "Yeah. Now, when exactly did you find out that she was missing?" Anna said. "About fifteen minutes ago. I was getting a little more worried that I hadn't heard anything else from Maxie because she definitely should've been home by then, so I drove over to The Metro Court and headed to Crimson. When I got up to the office I didn't see Maxie at her desk or anything, but I tried not to panic right away as I looked around and called out for her, but I got no response. Then I decided to call her, and I found her phone on the floor, and the realization hit me that Declan must've taken her, causing her to drop her phone." Nathan said.

"I can only imagine what must be going through your head right now. But that's good that you at least found her phone. Now, she probably either dropped it because he startled her, or maybe she dropped it on purpose for you to find it." Anna said. "It's possible. Now we just have to find her." Nathan said. "We will, don't worry." Anna said. "Yeah, I'm trying to tell myself that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go call Hanna and tell her what's going on." Nathan said. "Yes, of course. Go ahead. I'll put the department on the lookout for Declan." Anna said. "Thank you, Anna." Nathan said as he stood up from the chair and he made his way to the door. "Maxie's going to be okay, Nathan. We're going to find her." Anna said as Nathan's back was turned to her as he opened the door, he turned back around to face her and he simply nodded his head before turning around and walking out of her office.
