At Spoby's House

"There's my beautiful wife." Toby said happily as Spencer walked through the front door and shut it behind her. "And there's my handsome husband." Spencer said as she walked over into his waiting arms, she breathed in his scent deeply as they hugged. "I missed you." She whispered to him. "I missed you too." Toby whispered back to her before gently kissing the top of her head. "You wanna go sit?" He asked her and she nodded, and they headed over to the couch and sat down next to each other.

"How'd it go this morning?" Toby asked her. "It was fine, we met with a few possible new clients." Spencer said. "That's great." Toby said. "Yeah, but the important thing is that I'm home with my beautiful family." Spencer said as she ran her hand through his hair. "We're glad that you're home." Toby said. "Now we can just relax for a bit." Spencer said.
"I like the sound of that." Toby said as he smiled softly at her. "So, where's our little princess?" Spencer asked him curiously. "She's taking a nap upstairs, Maggie's guarding her crib." Toby said and Spencer laughed softly. "That doesn't surprise me at all. Did you tire her out?" She said and Toby nodded. "Yeah, we had a lot of good playtime, and after she fell asleep I was able to get some work done on some sketches of some new house designs." Toby said. "I'm glad." Spencer said.

"Serious question though , how many cups of coffee have you had since the two before you left this morning?" Toby asked her. "Just one." Spencer said calmly. "Spencer." He said as he raised his eyebrow. "What?" Spencer said. "Babe, you know that I know you better than that." Toby said and Spencer playfully rolled her eyes. "Okay, okay. Maybe a little more than that." She said as she looked at him. "How much more?" Toby asked her. "Only two." Spencer said, but he wasn't buying that either.
"Spencer." He said. "Okay, okay. Just four, seriously." Spencer said. "Now that sounds more like you, but Spence, it's only the afternoon... You know that I just love you and want you to be okay." He said. "I know, and you know that I love that you're protective of me." Spencer said. "I always will be, even if you think I'm being too overprotective." Toby said as he stroked her hair. "Like I've told you before, you're even more cute when you're overprotective. I wouldn't want you to be any other way." Spencer said as she smiled softly at him and he smiled back at her before gently kissing her forehead.

"You know I still can't believe that it's already May." Toby said. "Yeah, I know what you mean. It feels like it came super fast this year." Spencer said. "Exactly." Toby said. "Plus it feels weird not having The Nurse's Ball this year." Spencer said and Toby nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I know. But at least Lucy is still taking donations to help the fight against HIV and Aids." Toby said and Spencer nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's the good part. I just hope that everyone's schedules align and everything so that we can bring it back again next year, it just feels like something important is missing." She said before looking down for a second.
"I know that it does, and yeah hopefully it will be back next year, because I love getting to sing with you." Toby said. "You took the words right out of my mouth." Spencer said before leaning in to kiss him and he kissed her back, until they heard the sound of Marion waking up from upstairs.

"I'll go get her." Toby said, getting up off the couch, kissing her forehead gently before he headed upstairs to Marion's nursery, leaving Spencer on the couch, smiling softly to herself.

At GH

"Well the good thing is that your ankle is not broken." Elizabeth said to Josslyn who was on the examination table holding onto her left ankle.

"You're sure about that?" Emily said, a hint of worry in her voice. "According to the X-ray, it's just a bad sprain." Elizabeth said. "I told you." Josslyn said as she smiled softly at her big sister. "Well it's nice to be wrong." Emily said as she smiled back at her. "I'm sure that you were worried when you found out that she got hurt at Volleyball practice." Elizabeth said. "Yeah of course I was, as soon as the highschool called me I went and picked her up." Emily said. "You're a great big sister." Elizabeth said. "She's not wrong." Joss said. "Alright, I'm going to go talk to the doctor and find out when you can go home." Elizabeth said, smiling softly at them before she left the room.
