Chapter Thirty Three

A few days later

At Kelly's

Spencer and Toby were eating breakfast at Kelly's and discussing plans for their wedding.

"So have you decided on who you're going to ask to be your maid of honor?" Toby asked and Spencer nodded. "Yeah I have actually, and have you picked a best man?" She asked but Toby shook his head. "No I haven't, but let me guess, Serena?" He asked and Spencer nodded. "I couldn't think of a better choice." She smiled. "Well I'm glad, and I guess the girls are going to be your bridesmaids?" He asked and she nodded. "That's the plan." She said and he nodded. "So do you have a date in mind?" Toby asked. " I do actually." Spencer said smiling. "When?" Toby asked curiously. "How about the 23rd?" Spencer asked.

"I think that's perfect Spence." Toby smiled.

"Well then I guess we're getting married on the 23rd." Spencer smiled back at him.

"So are you going to ask Maxie and Hanna to help us plan the wedding?" Toby asked.

"I love them, I do, but we both know how they can get planning things." Spencer said and Toby nodded. "And you don't want it to be made into this huge thing." Toby gave a small smile. "Exactly, I want this to be our wedding, as it should be." Spencer smiled.
"Well I'm more than happy to help you with this, fiancé." Toby smiled at her. "And that right there is why I love you Tobias Cavanaugh." Spencer said before leaning over the table and giving him a passionate kiss.

"Changing the subject, have you been able to find anything that will help you clear Nelle's name? Toby asked curiously and Spencer shook her head. "No, but my gut is still telling me that Sharon had something to do with it, even if she didn't kill him there's more that she isn't saying." Spencer said. "Yeah I agree with you on that, something is definitely off with her." Toby said. "We need to meet with her again and grill her until she talks more." Spencer said with determination in her voice and Toby nodded. "I agree, I'm really glad you still want me helping you with this Spence." Toby said giving her a small smile. "Well of course, I couldn't think of a better partner for this, well besides my Mom of course." Spencer said and they both laughed. "Okay, let's go make her sweat." Spencer smirked. "I like the way you think Ms. Morgan." Toby smirked back at her. "Why thank you Mr. Cavanaugh." Spencer smiled before pulling him into a passionate kiss which he immediately deepened but after a few more seconds Spencer pulled away and Toby frowned. "As hot as that was, we should probably get going." Spencer said and Toby reluctantly nodded. "Yeah you're right." Toby said. "Don't you worry Cavanaugh, we can finish this later." Spencer smirked at him before kissing him again and then they both stood up and left.

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

Sam, Spencer and Toby were sitting on the couch in the living room and they were telling Sam about their plan to help Nelle.

"So you're going to interrogate Sharon again?" Sam asked and Spencer nodded.
"There is definitely more that she isn't
saying." She said and Toby nodded. "But we're going to get to the bottom of this." Toby said and Sam nodded. "I have no doubt about that at all." Sam said giving them a small smile. "Yeah we'll get the truth out of her." Spencer said smirking at Toby and he smirked back at her. "Well you learned from the best so I don't have a doubt about that." Sam said smiling at her daughter. "I guess we should probably get going to the park right babe?" Toby asked and Spencer nodded and they stood up and walked over to the door. "Good luck you too." Sam smiled and they thanked her and then they left for the park to meet with Sharon again. They were going to get the truth one way or another.

At the park

"It's nice to see you again Spencer
and Toby." Sharon said giving them a small smile. "You too Sharon." Spencer said faking a smile. "Spencer I heard what happened I'm glad to see you're doing better." Sharon said and Spencer nodded. "Thank you." She said wanting to get this over with already. "Oh and I also wanted to congratulate you on your engagement." She said and Spencer and Toby nodded. "Now Sharon we wanted to ask you some more questions about Zack's death if you don't mind." Toby said. "Not at all, I'm happy to help anyway that I can but I think you know everything I know." Sharon said and Spencer had to try really hard to suppress her anger and Toby sensed this and squeezed her hand comfortingly and she gave him a small smile before turning her head back to Sharon.
"So you say that Zack and Nelle were on vacation and he died in a suspicious kayaking accident right?" Spencer asked and Sharon nodded.
