The Next Day

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

In Spoby's bedroom

Spencer and Toby were still lying in their bed cuddling each other, it was currently one in the afternoon but Toby knew she needed sleep considering after yesterday she didn't fall asleep until after 3am and of course he stayed up all night with her, even after she told him to go ahead and go to sleep he wasn't going to let her stay up like that by herself he wanted to take care of her.
Just then his cell phone vibrated and he looked down at Spencer's sleeping form whose head was on her chest he was happy it didn't wake her and he gently, careful not to disturb her, he leaned over to his nightstand and grabbed his phone, it was a text from Jason.

Hey, Sam and I are In the living room with the kids but anyway I wanted to check on Spencer, Sam told me what happened yesterday at Wyndemere, is she okay?

Toby quickly wrote back, with one hand of course as the other was still wrapped around Spencer.

Yeah she's alright now, she's still sleeping right now she had a pretty rough night.

Jason wrote back shortly after,

Well I'm glad she's getting some rest she needs it, thank you for being there for her Toby.

Toby smiled as he responded,

Jason it's my pleasure there's nowhere else I would rather be.

And with that he put his phone back on the nightstand and looked back down at Spencer who was still sleeping and he placed a gentle kiss to her forehead.

A few minutes later Spencer finally woke up and she looked up at Toby and smiled and he smiled back. "Good morning gorgeous, of should I say afternoon? I wanted to let you sleep in because you needed it." Toby said. "Thanks Tobes, what time is it?" Spencer asked. "1:30." Toby answered. "Did you get any sleep?" Spencer asked with concern in her voice as she looked deeply into his eyes and gently stroked his cheek. "I'm fine Spence." Toby said reassuring her. "That's not what I asked you Tobes." Spencer said. "Spencer I'm fine I slept I promise okay I'm fine but my main concern was making sure you were ok baby." Toby said kissing the top of her head.

20 minutes later

Downstairs in the living room

Jason, Sam, Spencer and Toby were all sitting on the couch together.

"So the two of you are going out with Kiki and Griffin tonight right?" Sam asked. "Yeah we're having dinner at the Metro Court." Spencer said looking over smiling at Toby who was holding Emily Scout and he smiled back at her. "Well I hope you four have a good time." Jason said. "We will." Spencer said and just then her phone went off with a text from Kiki,

Hey Spence! Griffin and I can't wait to see you and Toby tonight! How does 6 sound?

Spencer showed Toby the text and he nodded so she wrote back,

6 is perfect! See you then!

And then Kiki wrote back,

Great! See you tonight!
