Chapter Thirteen

A few days later

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

Jason, Sam, Spencer, and Toby were sitting on the couch in the living room and Jason had just gotten off the phone with Spinelli who is in Switzerland trying to get more information on the number that Valentin has been calling.

“Has he found anything yet?” Toby asked.

“Not yet, but he will.” Jason said. “I know it'll take him some time, but I wish he would find something sooner rather than later.” Spencer sighed and Toby squeezed her handle comfortingly. “Yeah I'm with you on that Spence but hopefully Spinelli will turn something up soon.” Sam said and Spencer nodded. Just then Jason's cell phone rang and he answered it and when he hung up he sighed and put his head in his hands thinking. “Dad what is it?” Spencer asked with concern. Jason sighed. “That was the Swiss police, they've arrested Spinelli.” “What?!” Spencer, Toby, and Sam all said at the same time. “Yeah apparently they caught onto him, I have to go and get him out.” Jason said getting off the couch but Sam gently grabbed his arm. “Jason you can't go by yourself.” She said with a hint of worry in her voice. “Sam I know what I'm doing you know that I can handle this, plus I need you to stay here with the kids so I know you're safe.” Jason said. “I'm a PI Jason, let me come with you.” Sam asked but Jason shook his head. “What about if I go with you Dad?” Spencer asked and they all looked at her. “Spence-” Jason started but she cut him off. “Come on Dad I am a perfectly capable adult who also happens to be a PI I know what I'm doing, let me come with you.” Spencer begged, Jason sighed. “Alright I see you aren't going to let up on this because you're so stubborn like your mom, okay you can go.” Jason said and Spencer smiled. “Thank you.” Spencer felt Toby grab her hand so she looked up at him. “Spence I don't like this, I mean we literally just got engaged a few days ago and now you're going to Switzerland to possibly get yourself into trouble?” Toby said with concern and she gently cupped his face with her hands. “Tobes I'll be fine I promise, besides you and I both know that my Dad won't let me get hurt, I want you here to stay safe okay and besides you should be working on our house okay? I promise I'll be back before you even have the chance to miss me that much.” She tried comforting him and he eventually nodded. “Okay, just please promise me you'll be careful?” He asked and she nodded. “Absolutely.” “Toby I won't let anything happen to her I promise.” Jason said and Toby nodded. “I know you won't Jason.”

“Okay Spence we better go pack yeah?” Jason asked and she nodded.

A little bit later

Jason and Spencer we're about to leave and Jason had just finished saying goodbye to the kids and now Spencer, Toby, Jason, and Sam were standing by the door together.

“Jason please be careful and get Spinelli out of there okay? And keep out daughter safe.” Sam said. “I promise I will, I love you Sam.” “I love you too Jason.” And then they kissed and it was a long, passionate one too.

“I want you to promise me that you'll call me as soon as you get there okay?” Toby asked as he cupped her face in his hands and she nodded. “I promise Tobes, I love you.” She said trying not to cry. “I love you too Spence, now I want you to come back to me in one piece alright?” He asked and she nodded and then he kissed her passionately and then both Jason and Spencer headed to the airport to catch. Flight to Switzerland.

In Switzerland

Jason and Spencer had just gotten to their hotel room and they sat down on the couch.

“Okay first I need to call Toby and you need to call Mom and then you can tell me your plan to get Spinelli out of jail.” Spencer said and Jason nodded and he went to go call Sam and Spencer pulled out her cell phone and dialed her fiance's number.
