Chapter Forty Two

One week later

At Jason and Sam's penthouse

“Have you spoken with Spence today?” Jason asked his wife  as he sat on the couch next to her and she shook her head.

“No, but they deserve their alone time in Paris.” Sam said and Jason nodded. “Yeah you're right, they deserve their alone time.” Jason said. “Speaking of alone time, since the kids are at your Mom's for the night I was thinking maybe we could have some alone time upstairs if you know what I
mean.” Sam said smirking and Jason nodded. “That would be perfect.” Jason said before passionately kissing her and then he got up off the couch and picked Sam up bridal style and carried her upstairs to their bedroom.

At GH

“Hi Kiki.” Aria said walking over to Kiki who was at the Nurse's station going over patient files. “Hey Aria, are you on break right now?” Kiki asked and Aria nodded. “Yeah I am and I just wanted to check on you, see how you were holding up.” Aria said. “I'm doing good, just hanging in there.” Kiki said and Aria nodded. “Well I just wanted to check on you, have you talked with a judge yet?” Aria asked and Kiki shook her head. “No, I still need a lawyer, and when Spence gets back I'm going to ask her if she can come with me to talk to Alexis.” Kiki said and Aria nodded. “Well if anyone can help you win it's definitely Alexis.” Aria said and Kiki nodded. “So how are things with you and Griffin?” Aria asked. “Things are really good, he does a great job of distracting me from everything going on with Bensch.” Kiki said. “Well I'm just glad that you have him. Aria said giving her a small smile. “Believe me so am I.” Kiki said smiling back at her.

At Nathan and Maxie's apartment

“You're such a good Father.” Maxie said as she stood in the doorway of Meghan's nursery watching Nathan rock Meghan in his arms. “Well thank you, you know you're a pretty good Mother.” Nathan said smiling at his wife. “Well I appreciate that, but anyway our kids are lucky to have such an amazing Father.” Maxie said walking over to him and she kissed him and then she kissed the top of Meghan's head. “Well they're also lucky to have such an amazing Mother, right baby girl?” Nathan asked Meghan and she smiled at him and Maxie smiled at her husband and their baby girl. “I love you Nathan, so much.”

Maxie said smiling at him. “I love you too Max, more than you know.” Nathan replied before passionately kissing her.

At Sonny and Carly's house

Sonny, Carly, Emily, and Morgan were sitting in the living room discussing things.

“So Morgan how has work been going?” Carly asked. “It's been fine Mom.” Morgan said and Carly nodded. “So how have things been going at the Metro Court?” Morgan asked Emily and Carly. “Things have been good.” Emily said and Morgan nodded.
"So Dad how's business been going?” Emily asked. “Business has been good, I'm just waiting for someone else to come popping out of the woodwork to try and take me down though.” Sonny said. “Well all of the main people are are already locked up right? Jerry, Julian, Valentin and there's others.” Emily said. “Yeah but we know how resourceful Jax is he'll probably find a way out eventually.” Sonny said sighing. “I just hope that doesn't happen, for yours and Jason's sakes and Spencer.” Emily said.

“Yeah I agree with you there, Spencer doesn't need any more pain.” Morgan said.

“I agree, I'm just glad that her and Toby finally got married and they're happy in Paris right now.” Carly said. “Yeah me too, don't worry Jason and I aren't going to let Jerry anywhere near Spencer and Toby ever again.” Sonny said. “I know you won't, it just makes me nervous.” Emily said. “Well try not to worry Em because there's nothing to worry about, Jason and I will take care of Jerry.” Sonny said and Emily nodded. “Okay I'm going to go check upstairs and check on your sister.” Carly said before kissing Sonny and then she went upstairs to check on Avery.

At the PCPD

“So how are you liking it here in Port Charles?” Lucky asked Chase as they looked over case files. (I forgot to mention that Lucky is also a detective lol, hopefully one day maybe he'll be back on GH we'll have to wait and see.) “I'm liking it here very much, it's hard to believe that I've been here for almost six months now.” Chase said. “And how are things between you and Alison?” Lucky asked. “Things are great.” Chase said smiling a little. “Well that's good, as you know Alison is my niece so I'm glad you're treating her well.” Lucky said. (Lucky is Lulu's brother.) “I would never hurt Ali.” Chase said. “I know that, she's lucky to have you in her life Chase.” Lucky said. “Thanks Lucky that means a lot. There's nothing I wouldn't do for Ali.” Chase said and then Aria and Ali walked into the station and walked over to them. “Hey Dad.” Aria said giving Lucky a hug. “Hey sweetheart.” Lucky said smiling at his daughter. “Hi handsome.” Ali said giving Chase a kiss on the cheek. “Hi beautiful, I was just thinking about you.” Chase said smiling at her. “Aria and I had just finished our shifts and I asked her to give me a ride here and then I was thinking that you could take me back to your place?” Ali asked and Chase nodded. “Yeah I think I can do that.” Chase said and Ali smiled. “You two don't have too much fun okay?” Lucky said and Alison laughed. “Uncle Lucky.”  She said. “I'm just looking out for you.” Lucky said. “I know and I appreciate that, but Chase and I love each other and he would never hurt me.” Ali said. “I know, I trust him.” Lucky said.
“Thank you.” Chase said.

Later that night

Back at Jason and Sam's penthouse

“How do you always beat me at this Is just don't get it!” Sam said as she took another shot of tequila. “I'll never reveal my secret.” Jason said as he made his next move. “You know one day I will beat you again.” Sam said. “I guess that we'll just have to see about that won't we?” Jason said raising his eyebrow and then Sam looked down at the dominoes. “Really Jason?!” She exclaimed as she took another shot of tequila. “Hey I can't help it that I'm just very good at this game.” Jason said smiling at her and she smiled back. “You know you're lucky I love you Mr. Morgan.” Sam said. “Well I love you too Mrs. Morgan.” Jason said before kissing his wife and she immediately kissed him back.

And also this was kinda short but without Spoby I couldn't really think of too much else to put in this one lol, but don't worry they'll be back in the next chapter which I've already started working on! Anyway I hope y'all enjoyed this one! I've got a lot of good stuff coming up I promise lol.
