The Next Morning

At Spoby's House

"Are you sure that you don't want me to send some guys over to the house?"

"No Jason, we don't need any guards outside, not yet at least, but thank you for the offer." 

"Okay if you're sure, just let me know if you need anything."

"We will, thanks for checking in with us."

"Of course, I love you both and want you safe, and of course my Granddaughter."

"We know, and we love you too."

"Alright I'll let you get back to Spence. Bye Son."

"Bye Jason."

"You sure that was the right decision?" Spencer asked him and he put his phone back in his pocket and then he walked back over to the couch and sat down next to her. "Yes, you know that I will do whatever I need to do to protect you and our daughter, but Jerry's not going to just come here and ambush us in our house when we'd be expecting it. You know that." Toby said and Spencer nodded before taking a deep breath. "Yeah I know, I just… I mean I thought that we were finally free of him trying to ruin our lives." She said and Toby grabbed her hand comfortingly. "I know, me too, and of course there's still the fact that we think he's behind the threats to Sonny's business, but now that he's escaped from Pentonville I feel like it's only a matter of time before he tries to come after you again, but you know that I won't let him hurt you, right?" He said and Spencer nodded. "Yeah of course I know that you goofball." She said smiling softly at him and he wrapped his arm around her. "Everything's going to be okay Spence. 
I promise." Toby said before kissing her forehead and she laid her head on his chest, she always feels the safest in his arms, and then of course her cell phone started ringing.

"Who is it?" Toby asked her as she got her phone out of her pocket. "It's Ali." Spencer said as she looked at the caller ID. "Answer it." Toby said and Spencer nodded before answering the call.

"Hey Ali, how're you holding up?"

"Hey Spence…. There's something that I need to tell you."

"Well I can tell that you're upset, has Stavros come after or your mom?"

"N-n-no, thankfully we haven't heard from him yet, but Spence something else happened last night."

"What? Ali what's wrong?"

"Is Toby right there with you?"

"Okay now I know that it's bad, yes he's sitting right next to me. Now what happened last night, besides the obvious."

Ali then took a deep breath and Spencer could tell that she was trying to calm herself down enough to tell her what had happened. 

"Spence…. It's Hanna."

"What about Hanna? W-what happened?"

"Apparently she was headed to Crimson to get some files for an important deal or something, but her car slid over a patch of ice and crashed into a tree, it happened last night but Maxie just called my mom a while ago and we're at GH right now."

"Oh my gosh, i-is Chase with you?"

"Yeah, he just got here a few minutes ago."

"Okay good, I'm glad that he's there with you, do Aria and Em know yet?'

"I wanted to call you first, and you know that you don't have to play strong, not with me."

"I-I know that… H-how is she?"
