Chapter One Hundred and Sixteen

A Few Days Later

At Spoby's House

In Their Bedroom

"Spence, are you sure that you want to do this?" Toby asked his wife nervously, she turned around from looking at herself in the mirror to face him. "I know that you're worried about this, but it'll be fine, it's about time this happened anyway." She said. "Look I know I told you that you could do this but maybe it's a bad idea, maybe you should just cancel." Toby said. "Tobes, we've been over this, I can handle him, and I would like to tell him off for abandoning you for Eight years and then coming back all of a sudden like everything is fine and peachy between you two, not to mention the way he talks about my Dad." Spencer said. "I get your point, and that really aggravated me at The Nurse's Ball, because Jason is the one that's been there for me when he just left, Jason's my father in every way that counts." Toby said. "I know, and that means the world to me that you two are so close." Spencer said smiling softly at him. "Yeah I know." Toby said. "You're going to be okay with me going to Kelly's right?" Spencer asked and Toby sighed, then nodded. "Yeah, it's just, well from what I told you you know how he is, I just don't want him saying bad things to you." Toby said. "I know, but I can handle it, he needs to realize that you do not want him here." Spencer said. "Yeah… I really do appreciate you doing this." Toby said. "I know you do." Spencer said smiling softly at him.

"Maybe I'll see if Em can come over while you're gone." Toby said. "That would be good, you two haven't had time to talk in awhile." Spencer said. "Yeah." Toby said. "Okay, I should probably get ready and leave, I'm going to go and check on Marion first." Spencer said and Toby nodded. "She's probably still sleeping, I'll walk with you." He said and Spencer nodded before putting her hands on his shoulders comfortingly and she looked deep into his bright blue eyes. "I just want you to know that I'm going to be completely fine, okay?" She said and he nodded. "I know you are." He said.

"Good, I love you." Spencer said. "I love you more." Toby said and Spencer smiled at him before kissing him softly and he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back and they kept kissing until they had to break apart for air. "Okay, let's go check on Marion." Spencer said and Toby nodded and they started to walk out of their bedroom and then Maggie barked happily and jumped off their bed and followed them and Spencer and Toby laughed softly.

At The Metro Court

Aria and Holden were sitting at a table in the restaurant waiting for Lucy to show up.

"So I know things have been pretty hectic with your work schedule lately, and I know that I probably don't say this enough, but I am so proud of you for teaching Art Therapy to the kids." Holden said. "Well thank you babe I appreciate that, there's nothing I would rather be doing, this is definitely my dream job." Aria said happily. "Well I'm glad, but I am glad that we're getting this time now." Holden said. "Yeah me too." Aria said smiling at him.

"So Lucy should be here in a few minutes." Holden said. "Yeah, I'm excited to get back to talking about house hunting." Aria said. "Yeah me too, I can't wait to officially live with you, especially in our own place, again no offense to your parents or anything." Holden said. "None taken, I get what you mean." Aria said.

"Hello you two, I'm sorry that I'm a little late." Lucy said as she walked over to their table. 

"It's alright Lucy, we're just glad that you're here now." Aria said smiling softly at her as she sat down at their table. "Happy to be here, now I happened to find a few new listings that I figured that you two would want to look at." Lucy said before showing them some pictures of the properties. "These pictures are great, and I definitely think we want to look at this one in particular in person." Aria said after looking at Holden and Lucy nodded. "I thought you might favor this one." Lucy said smiling softly at them. "When exactly can we see it?" Holden asked. "I will talk with the owners and see when a good time is." Lucy Said and they nodded. "That sounds perfect." Aria said.
